A/N: Hey! So, don't hate me. If you already do, I'm sorry..PLEASE DON'T HATE ME ANYMORE! I know I haven't posted in forever, and I feel really ashamed. But you guys do know I have a social life, right? It's true, I do. I've been super busy with my over-summer homework, math packets, and reading assignments for school. Plus (some of you may know) I do modeling outside of school and I also have summer lacrosse and I've been having tryouts for some club teams for field hockey. And, next week I'm going to the beach with my friend. So, there probably won't be any time for Wattpadding *crowd boos and throws tomatos at me* at this point. But I promise I'll try to squeeze some stuff in during this week. Thanks for sticking with me!
xox,
Scotti
P.S. The tumblr page for my books will probably be in the external link! If not, just tell me in the comments below and I'll write down the link for you guys.

Chapter 5: Whispers and Witches
*✐*✐*✐*
Walking into school, I'm usually slip in unnoticed. But today, whoever's in the halls give everyone the hairy eyeball as soon as they walk through the historic oak doors. I hear whispers and murmurs and all the students make no intention in hiding them.
"It would totally suck to be this BF person. I mean, have you read the book? She dishes every secret she's got!"
"Can't we just, like, hunt her down? Then she'll be the laughingstock of Bakersfield High."
"Ohmigod! Maybe one of those people are BF? There's three girls. I don't know who they are! I think one of them is Trudy, that girl who turned her back on Addelyn?"
All the whispers seem to circulate around me, Addelyn, and the book. As I walk down the hall to my locker, I feel my insides freeze over. There she is, standing at my locker. Her arms crossed, her high heeled boot rested behind her, and looking as smug as ever, with her little vice behind her. She draws up a finger and gestures me to come closer. I walk towards her uneasily.
"What, Addelyn? Make it quick," I tell her, rolling up the sleeves on my favorite Batman sweatshirt.
"Don't rush me, dwarf," she spits back, eyeballing my petite frame. I glare at her, wanting to squish her toes underneath her suede boots.
"What do you want?" I ask her again, rolling my eyes. She laughs haughitly, throwing her head back.
"Look. I'm here to tell you that I know your secrets. And I know where your journal is. So, you better stay out of my way or else-"
"Or else what?" I chide.
"Or else I will personally see to it to make your live a living hell." Her words come out cold a tweezed. I want to just erase this whole mess and forget about everything. It's sad to admit, but it's true. I'm scared of Addelyn. Mostly because I know that she wasn't joking about making my life hell.
