[The scene changes to the inside of an apartment, the door swings open, Rey is being shown to her room by a young woman named Connix.]
Connix: And welcome to the Renaissance Tower, luxury apartments with charm. Complementary delousing once a month... Don't lose your key. [gives her the key and leaves]
Rey: Thank you. [sees Rex and Echo walking past her] Oh, hi! I'm Rey, your new neighbor.
Rex: [grumpy] Yeah? Well, we're loud.
Echo: [grumpy] Don't expect us to apologize for it.
[Their door slams; Rey looks around the room]
Rey: Greasy walls... Rickety bed... [Rex and Echo are heard next door saying "Shut up!" to each other, two pictures on Rey's wall move up and down as the two yell at each other] Crazy neighbors... [flops on the bed with a huge smile] I love it!!
[The alarm goes off at 5:30; Rey turns it off, gets in her uniform, polishes her badge, unlocks her door and grabs her key. She looks at the pepper spray.]
Rey: Eh... [Rey leaves the room. A few seconds later, she goes back in and grabs the spray.]
