[Scene changes to the where Rey, now a 24 year old grown up, is with other much larger people. The caption shows 15 Years Later...]
Major Maz: Listen up, cadets! Los Angeles has twelve unique ecosystems within its city limits. Death Valley National Park, Mount Wilson, Mount Baldy - to name a few! You're gonna have to master all of them before you hit the streets or guess what? [looks at Rey] You'll be dead! [Rey shows a surprised look.]
Major Maz: Scorching sandstorm! [the cadets make their way across through the Death Valley National Park section; Rey struggles, and the sand covers her completely.] You're dead, country girl.
[The cadets cross through monkey bars in the Mount Wilson section.]
Major Maz: One-thousand-foot fall!
Whoa! [Rey loses her grip and falls face flat in the mud.]
Major Maz: You're dead, gardener!
Major Maz: Frigid ice-wall! [Rey tries to climb the iceberg wall, but slides off and falls in the icy water. She emerges, freezing.] You're dead, farm girl!
Major Maz: Enormous criminal! [Rey fights a 6"4 guy, but gets knocked back.] You're dead! [Scenes show Rey covered in mud, her hair caught in a police cruiser door, and falling off the ropes.] Dead, dead, dead!
[Rey, exhausted, goes into the Academy toilet and slips over]
Whoa!
Major Maz: [from toilet stall] Filthy floor! You're dead, harvester! [Scene changes to Rey outside at dusk.] Just quit and go home, peasent.
[Eventually, however, Rey returns and does personal training by doing pull-ups on her bunk bed with an open book in front of her. She then has returned to the Academy and used all her strength to jump over the iceberg, much to the impression of the Major. Then in the ring, she dodges the 6"4 guys' punches, pulls back against the ropes and kicks the guys' face, knocking his mouth guard and falls down.]
