I shiver in the cold cell. No one has come to give me food and water in 3 days. My stomach aches as it folds on itself, and my throat hurts with sharper pain than yesterday from having no water.

The house has been complete and utter silence for two days now. With the procedure having gone underway, I fear something has gone wrong. Either that or they have left me to die in solitary.

I wouldn't be surprised. Cassie is mad as hell at me. I'm the enemy to everyone in this huge mansion. I've tried screaming, but I know there's only one person who will come to my rescue despite not trying to save him myself: Nick. But I fear something has happened to him. Surely he can't hate me so much to leave me for dead.

I hear footsteps come down the long, dark hall of cells and stop at my door. The steel door creaks as it is moved on its hinges and slowly opens all the way. A person in a black cloak stands before me.

"Nick?" I whisper.

"Hello, Tracy. It's nice to finally see you again." The voice is deep and raspy, definitely not Nick's. The tall figure pulls back the hood to reveal a face I thought I would never see again.

"W-what are you doing here?" I stammer and back away from the door as fast as I can.

"It's time for me to take over."

"Please understand. I tried everything. That girl is just so stubborn. There was nothing I could do."

"Oh, but there was. If you had just killed her in the beginning, none of this would be happening." He pulls something out of his cloak and steps closer to me.

"P-please, sir. I tried my best!" I cry out in terror.

"Yet, you still failed." He brings a knife above his head and plunges it into my heart. My eyelids close as death is brought upon me.

 "And I won't."
