Too Late Part 20

A/N: Very tiny Easter egg appearances from characters of Scarab Beetles series will be featured and mentioned a little in this and in time to come. This won't be a huge crossover type thing, sorry to disappoint :(

Small time skip:

Victor

"I want every file,video, and tape cross referenced and viewed right now!" Mr. Toma's voice rang out through the security trailer. Victor had called in his last favor, he needed Corey's help and frankly, Mr. Blackbourne needed Mr. Toma's.

Mr. Blackbourne had been making a list of everything on that needed their immediate attention and that had been going on. It made Victor's head hurt just thinking about it.

McCoy bought a gun but the tracker team has lost him. Sang was raped. Nathan's dad raped her. Kota's been kidnapped by Volto and who knows if he's using McCoy now too.

It felt like the world was pulling everything apart, spinning on before anyone could even take a breath. The only clue they had about Kota was what Luke had found near Bob's Diner. He'd picked up a Volto mask with Kota's specialized blue watch. It was an accident, if Dr. Green hadn't told Luke to get to the security trailer when they got to Nathan's who knows how long it would have taken them to figure anything out?

His phone beeped, notifying him that Sang had texted asking if their was any news.

No news doesn't seem like good news anymore does it?

Victor's heart sunk. He wanted to give this to her, peace of mind, or at least something to ease her. She hadn't had time to really grieve- none of them did over the fact that they allowed something so horrible to happen to her.

You can't think about it now.

If he thought about he wouldn't stop. No, right now Kota needed him and Sang needed him to bring his brother home.

It's the only thing I can do.

Sang

"Aggele Mou" Silas voice broke Sang from her sleep as she felt his hand holding her own. The pain medication from earlier had made her sleepy. It felt wrong to be asleep at a time like this. Kota was in trouble and here she was sleeping.

"Miss Sorenson there's nothing you can do" His calm voice tried to relax me but we were both too tense. "No there must be something, I-" as I tried to sit up I felt a harsh cramp in my lower abdomen. He put his hand on my shoulder lightly. "All you can do is rest and heal up. We'll get Kota, trust me." He kissed me on my forehead shortly after that and left, leaving me alone.

"Aggele?" Silas voice questioned the blank stare as Sang remembered what had happened.

Block out the pain. Block out the pain.

Sang could feel it now that she was awake, the pain down there. But she didn't want to think about it, thinking about it only made it worse.

Focus on what's in front of you.

"I'm sorry." Her voice croaked, coming out in a whisper. Silas squeezed her hand and knelt forward, "Aggele Mou you have nothing to apologize for. I do. I'm so sorry I-I" his voice choked back on him and it took a minute for her to register what was happening.

He's crying.

The guys never cried. She never thought she'd ever see them cry, sure they had emotions but they were so fearless. They never had expressed this kind of emotion with her before.

Her heart broke a little, it felt like it was all her fault.

I shouldn't have lied. I shouldn't have run away from this. I should have told them. I should have done everything differently.

So they cried.

Well Silas cried for about a minute, while Sang continued to grip his hand and cry for a while. But he let her, and he never let her go. He would kiss her hand and her forehead, telling her it was all okay and that he loved her in Greek. His native language seemed to soothe her until she fell back asleep.

She didn't know about Nathan yet, or his father. But Silas knew that they were both okay, Dr. Green had taken care of them. He just didn't have the heart to tell her that the man who hurt her was there and safe. While she was anything but okay.

Bigger time skip.

Dr. Green

"I don't want to do this." Her voice was numb as she stared at the cup.

It had been almost eight full days since Kota had gone missing. She felt like her heart was going to explode from worry, and this wasn't helping.

"Pookie, I know. But we have to." The Gabriel, Silas, and Nathan were on the other side of the curtain. Nathan's bed had been moved next to Sang's as he recovered from the fight.

Sang hadn't handled it well.

None of them had, but Sang was a total mess. Her guilt and fear had consumed her to the point where she had to be sedated. The academy had stepped in once they got word and Mr. Griffin was stable. At the moment none of them really knew where he was but it didn't matter.

What matters is Sang getting better, Nathan too.

"I don't want to know". The dred was evident in her voice.

I'm not sure if I want to know either.

But they needed to know, to move forward they had to know if she was pregnant or not. The three anxious boys on the other side of the curtain weren't helping either.

"Please pookie?" He tried again, and this time it finally worked. She sighed and got up, taking the cup from his hands and walked into the small private bathroom connected to the room.

"Do you think she is?" Nathan's worried voice floated softly so that Sang wouldn't hear.

I'm praying not.

Sean shook his head and waited for Sang to finish. The anxiety in the air seemed to spike as they heard the toilet flush.

Soon they would know. If she was pregnant, it would be Nathan's brother. Disgustingly creepy, but true. They didn't know what they would do. Playing the what if game was dangerous but how could they not?

"Here" She passed him the small capped cup with light yellow liquid.

It's now or never.

They all just hoped fate wasn't that cruel.

A/n: I know... you waited a week and this is all you get? A thousand apologies buuuutttt this is where the story will start to pick up a lot a go really fast. I hope you guys can bare with me, I kinda want to mimic how everything's going for the guys with the writing. I've written farther ahead but I still have to catch up and connect stuff before we get to the ending. Since it will go so quick once the story ends I'll probably post some scene that were skipped like in the time jump. For example, Nathan seeing Sang for the first time, Gabriel seeing Sang, and any other scenes y'all would like (Comment and let me know!). I just feel like if I write it like I have been of going day by day I'll never get to the big part and I'll just continue to drag it out which I don't want. I've already written a few pages, I'm just excited and anxious to post it but we're not at the point where I can yet :(

But since you've all waited so patiently here's a preview of some things to come in a chapter or two:

No, this time they really didn't know- maybe that's what scared Sang most of all. She knew it too, it was written in the way they stood and looked at Kota bloody body. But as she looked at Kota too she knew that she had to do this. The boy that had saved her from her world and gave her nothing but love deserved to be free of this hell.

I can handle this, for him.

Nobody knew what had happened to Kota or why he was unconscious. The blood on his clothing only made them know that he had to leave this place. He needed help.

I can make sure he gets help.

"A trade then." Her voice was weak but confident, she knew what she was doing.A chorus of "Sang" rang out behind her as they pleaded for her to stop.

"Me for him."
