You sighed as you sat alone at the surface. Today was the new school term and all of your friends had gone to school, including Astro. You would have gone to Sparks, Robotski and Mike's hideout, but they weren't there. You wondered where those three had gone. Oh well, at least you had some privacy. You would have gone to school as well, but your parents had decided to just have you homeschooled. Your parents however, they didn't homeschool you themselves. They had bought you electronic textbooks so that you could do some self studying. That was what you were supposed to be doing today, but you didn't feel like studying. You decided to just skip out on studying for today and hang out at the surface. You sighed as you were lost in your thoughts. Suddenly, you felt a tap on your shoulder.

"Hey Y/N." You gasped and turned around and fell over. You then frowned when you heard a familiar laughter and sat up.

"Very funny, Cora." You said as you stood up and brushed the dirt off your dress. Cora smiled at you and rested her hands on her hips and raised a playful eyebrow at you.

"Now why aren't you in school, young lady?" Cora questioned. You frowned at her.

"I should be asking you the same question." You and Cora stayed silent for a while until the two of you burst out laughing. Cora then breathed as she walked over to you.

"No, but seriously. Why aren't you in school?" Cora questioned. You smiled and held your hands behind your back and tapped your foot on the ground.

"Well, that's because I don't go to school. I'm homeschooled. Well, self taught more like it." You told. Cora raised an eyebrow at you.

"Self taught? How can you do that if you're blind?" You mentally smacked yourself. You totally forgot the fact that Cora didn't know!

"Um, uh, I listen to audio books." You told. You then sighed. Your lying skills were just terrific. Cora stared at you and giggled.

"Well that must suck. I don't think I'd be able to stand listening to people teach me stuff." You raised an eyebrow at Cora and laughed.

"Um, don't you do that anyway in school?" You joked. Cora rolled her eyes and shrugged.

"Yeah, but to be honest I think school is boring." You smiled at Cora and crossed your arms together.

"Yeah, but school helps give you an education so that you can do things in life." Cora raised her eyebrow at you.

"Like what?" You rolled your head at her.

"Like get a JOB." Cora smiled and pushed you lightly to the side. Although this would have been nothing for a normal person, you were currently blind at the moment so you had lost your balance completely. "Woah!" You cried out and fell onto your behind. You then frowned. "Uh hello? Blind girl here." Cora laughed and helped you up.

"Sorry, forgot that you're like a newly born chicken who can't even walk yet." You frowned. You then giggled and walked off into a random direction. Cora frowned and ran to catch up with you. "Hey, wait for me!" You smiled when Cora caught up with you.

"So, there a reason you're skipping school?" You questioned. Cora shrugged.

"I just didn't feel like going. And I bet you've got the same reason, right?" You sweat dropped and looked forwards.

"More or less." Cora gave you a confused look.

"And what's that mean?" You smiled and shook your head.

"Ah its nothing. Say just wondering but do you go to the same school as Astro and the others?" You questioned. Cora shook her head.

"No, I go to an all girl's school. Zane doesn't go to school and the twins are in a different grade. I'm pretty sure Astro goes to metro city academy." Cora told. Your eyes widened.

"Metro city academy? Hey, I used to go to that school." You told. Cora looked at you with a surprised look.

"Really?" You smiled and nodded.

"Yeah! I would always get second best though when it came to my grades because there was this one boy who kept acing the tests. He even left early in some tests because he had already finished it while getting a high score." You told as you laughed. You then turned your head and looked forwards. "Although it's strange because he suddenly stopped coming to school. I wonder how he's doing now." You muttered. Cora raised her eyebrow at you.

"Hey Y/N, what was this boy's name?" Cora questioned. You hummed in thought as you tried to remember.

"Hmm, I can't quite remember. Honestly I can't even remember his face all that well. We've never really talked. He'd always go straight home after school and whenever it came to group assignments he would say that he could do it on his own." You explained. Cora hummed in thought as she looked up.

"Hmm, this guy sounds oddly familiar." Cora muttered. She of course hadn't met him, but she's felt like that she's heard of him before. You smiled and held your hands behind your back.

"Actually, I kind of want to speak to him. You know, to see how things are at school." You admitted. Cora glanced at you.

"Why not go then. I mean don't you have some friends there?" Cora questioned. You frowned and stopped.

"Mm...I can't say that I do..." You muttered. You remember going to school one time with your blindfold and your friends there had forced you to take it off so that they could see the damage. However, when they saw it, they immediately became terrified and had stopped really talking to you. You and your friends just became....distant. Cora raised an eyebrow at you.

"Y/N?" You sighed and shook your head. You then smiled at Cora.

"It's nothing. You don't need to worry about it." Cora smiled. Suddenly, Cora was grabbed from behind and she cried out.

"What the-? Hey let go of me!" Cora shouted as two men grabbed her arms and held her back. You gasped and looked around.

"Cora!? What's wro-" You were silenced when you were suddenly hit on the back of the head hard, and you fell forwards. The person who had hit you on the back of the head reached forwards and wrapped their arm around your waist and lifted you up by the hand. Cora's eyes widened as the person knocked you unconscious.

"Y/N! PUT HER DOWN!" Cora cried as she pulled against the two guys holding her back. The other guy who held you by your wrist smirked and reached forwards for your blindfold. Cora growled. "DON'T YOU TOUCH HER!" Cora shouted. The man ripped off your blindfold, revealing the terrible scarring at the corners of your eyes. Cora gasped at the sight. Now she understood why you wore the blindfold. The man holding you grinned and took out his phone and dialled in a number and put the phone up to his ear.

"We've got her. We're heading back now." The man then hung up and looked at Cora and nodded to the two guys behind her. "Knock her unconscious. We can't have her knowing where we're going." The guy told. Cora's eyes widened while the two guys holding her back nodded and hit Cora on the back of the head. Cora's eyes widened as she fell forwards and landed on the ground. Her vision then became clouded and she looked at you through half lidded eyes as the three men carried you off to some kind of black vehicle.

"Y/N...." Cora muttered before her world completely went black.
