You sat on the couch in the old orphanage fiddling with a few gun parts. You had decided to continue practicing your aiming and your use when it comes to using a gun. Astro sat beside you watching you. You skipped the hatchet on the gun and looked over it. You then nodded and grabbed some training bullets and loaded the gun. You then stood up and aimed the gun at the target. You were then about to fire when Astro said something.
"Hey do you ever plan on going back to school?" Astro questioned just as you fired. The bullet missed the target and you frowned. You then raised your eyebrow at Astro.
"Go back to school? Well, I don't know. Maybe. Why do you ask?" You questioned. Astro stood up and walked towards you.
"Well, it's just that if you went to school again, then you could still go after your dream. I mean, you want to be a police woman, right?" Astro questioned. You nodded.
"Yeah, but-" Astro shook his head and took your hands into his.
"Don't worry about what others think. I really think that you should go back to school." Astro told. You looked down at his hands in yours and gave Astro an unsure look.
"I don't know..." Astro frowned. He then smiled.
"Don't worry, I'll be there with you!" You looked at Astro with wide eyes.
"Wait, you mean YOUR school!? Sorry, but I don't think that I can handle going back there." You told as you took a step back. Astro frowned at you.
"Why? Is it because of your old friends?" Astro questioned. You clenched your hands and looked to the side.
"Because...when I first went back to the school, everyone was so skeptical of me. I don't know how they'll react to when I actually go back." You told. Astro continued to frown at you. He then sighed and sat down. You glanced at Astro and fiddled with your fingers. "A-Astro, or, Toby..." You stuttered, unsure as to what to call Astro. Astro smiled at you.
"Astro is fine." You nodded and sat down next to Astro.
"Um, what exactly were everyone's reaction to you not being Toby?" You questioned, unsure whether or not that question was a sensitive one. Astro hummed in thought and chuckled.
"Well, they were definitely surprised. Although my old friends seemed upset at the fact that Toby is now gone and was replaced with a robot..." Astro admitted. You frowned. You then reached out and held Astro's hand. Astro's cheeks reddened slightly at this and he smiled at you. "I understand why they were upset though, I mean their friend was replaced with a robot." Astro told as he sighed and looked away. "But now things are different. Everyone has accepted me and now we get along great! I'm sure that they will also accept you if you just give them time." Astro told as he cupped your face. Your eyes widened. You then sighed and held his hand and nodded.
"I hope that you're right." You then smiled at Astro. Astro grinned at you and moved closer to you. Your eyes widened as Astro leaned a bit closer to you. You and Astro then heard the door burst open and the two of you whipped your heads around to see Zane laughing his head off while Cora frowned at him.
"And what made you think that it was a good idea to go and make the pile EXPLODE!?" Cora shouted as she smacked Zane upside the head. You stood up and smiled at Cora.
"Hey Cora!" You exclaimed as you ran into her arms. Cora smiled and hugged you.
"Hey Y/N." Astro sighed and smiled at Cora. He then stood up and walked over to both her and Zane.
"Hey guys. How's it going?" Astro greeted. Cora sighed and frowned as she glanced at Zane.
"I would say good but dog boy over there destroyed a pile of old broken down robots just because he felt like it. We then got in trouble." Cora told as she kicked Zane in the leg. Zane cried out and rubbed his sore leg. Cora then smiled at the two of you. "So, what were you two up to?" Cora questioned as she gave Astro a knowing look. Astro blushed and turned away while you smiled.
