You smiled brightly as Astro walked you home. Your hands were intertwined with his as the two of you walked along the foot path together. You hummed a small tune as the two of you walked in a comfortable silence. When you reached your house, you turned towards Astro and hugged him tightly.

"Well, this is my stop. Thanks for walking me home." You said as you leaned back slightly. Astro smiled lovingly at you and gently cupped your cheek. He then brought your face up to his and pressed his lips to yours. You leaned into the kiss and wrapped your arms around his neck. Once the need for air had risen, the two of you separated and leaned back from each other.

"I love you, Y/n." Astro said as he gazed into your eyes with so much love. You smiled back at him and hugged him tightly.

"I lo-"

"Y/n! You're back!" Your father exclaimed as he ripped you away from Astro and threw you in the air. You gasped and smiled at your father's enthusiasm. Although you were slightly annoyed at the fact that he had interrupted you. You hadn't told Astro that you loved him, but you were sure that he already knew. You just wanted to say those words out loudly.

"Hey dad." You greeted. You then turned towards Astro, who waved at your father. "I'll see you tomorrow, Astro." Astro smiled nodded.

"Okay, bye!" You waved to Astro as he took off to the skies. You then frowned at your father.

"Dad. How many times do I have to tell you to stop suddenly interrupting our moments?" You accused. Your father pouted at you. He then sighed and set you down on the ground.

"Sorry, kiddo. It's just that I'm still getting used to you having a boyfriend. Especially one who is a robot who saved the world." Your father told. You shook your head and smiled at your father.

"It's alright, father. Just please get used to it soon." You pleaded. Your father shrugged and gave you a lopsided smile.

"I'll try." You smiled at him. A look of realisation then crossed your father's face. "Oh! That's right! You received a letter." Your father told and took out a plain white envelope. You raised an eyebrow at him and grabbed the letter out of his hand. You then ripped it open and read over it out loud.

"Dear Y/n, something important has come up and I really need to talk to you. Trust me, I think that this may be very important. Come and meet me in the old science lab we found at twelve am... Cora." Your face scrunched up in confusion. "Cora? Why would she want to meet me there at such a late hour?" You asked yourself. Your father shook his head.

"No, you're not going. It's way too late to be going out at that time. You can talk to her tomorrow." Your father told. You frowned slightly at him. You then sighed and glanced back down at the letter.

"Alright, I'll be heading up to my room then. Gnight." You told as you rushed up to your room. Your father raised an eyebrow at you.

"Without dinner?" You father muttered before sitting back down on the couch.

You slowly opened the windows and glanced at the time. It was currently twelve am. You smiled and sat on the window seal. Good, your parents must be asleep. You glanced down at the ground and saw that it was quite a drop. You then noticed a tree and smiled. Perfect. You gripped the window seal tightly. You then released it and pushed yourself off it. You dived down into the branches and caught yourself on one of the branches. You sighed in relief.

"Phew, made it." You whispered. You then jumped down from the branches and gave one last look at your house before running off towards the surface.

At the surface, you made a long walk towards the secret tunnel you and the others had found the day before. You looked around for any signs of Cora and frowned when you didn't. You then arrived at the tunnel and stared into its dark depths.

"Hmm, maybe she's in here." You muttered. With a final nod, you crawled into the tunnel and crawled along it. It took you ten minutes to reach the other side. You stood up and stretched your back. "Ah, feels good to be out of that hole." You exclaimed. You then looked around the dusty room and frowned when you didn't see Cora. You then looked down at the piece of paper in your hands. "She told me to come here, was this just another prank she pulled?" You mumbled, slightly annoyed that you came here for nothing.

Suddenly, you heard a click. You whipped your head up to see that the clicking sound had emitted from the door opposite to you. You narrowed your eyes and slowly approached the door. You rested your hand on the door knob and twisted it slowly. Your eyes widened the the door slid open and you stood back in shock.

"B-but how? This door was locked when we came here the first time..." You whispered. Past the open door, you could see a lone hallway with a single door at the end. You glanced behind you. There was still time to turn back. You clenched your fists and shook your head. "No, I need to move on." You told yourself. You then faced the door and walked through it.

The moment you took a step though, the door slammed shut behind you. You gasped and turned towards the door. You then ran towards it and banged your fists on the door.

"H-hey! Open up!" You cried. You then struggled with the door knob and continued to bang your fists on the door.

"Please stop with that racket. Nobody other than I can hear you." A smooth voice said. You gasped and turned around to see a man in his early forties with platinum blond hair and icy blue eyes with pale skin. He wore a lab coat over his white button up shirt. You frowned slightly.

"W-who are you?" You questioned. The mysterious man smiled slightly and bowed his head to you.

"Pardon my rudeness, but isn't it more fitting for someone to introduce themselves before questioning others for their name?" The man told. Your eyes widened and you bowed your head.

"O-oh! I'm sorry, I am Y/n L/n." You said. The man smiled at you.

"I already know who you are. After all, I am the one who called you here. My name is Alfred Lancer. And I am a scientist." Alfred told. Your eyes widened and you instinctively took a step back. Alfred chuckled at this. "Calm yourself, child. There is no need to worry, I have no interest in your eyes." You pressed your lips into a thin line as you looked at him skeptically.

"Are you the one who wrote that letter?" You questioned. Alfred nodded.

"Yes, I am sorry to have deceived you but you wouldn't have come otherwise." Alfred told. You frowned. He was right, you wouldn't have come. You gave Alfred an unsure look.

"Why did you call me here?" You questioned. Alfred's smile dropped from his face as an air of seriousness crossed over his face.

"I called you here for one reason and one reason only." You raised an eyebrow at him.

"And that reason is?" Alfred was silent for a moment. His eyes then hardened.

"I want you to stop the existence of Astro."
