We pull up and I look over at Matt with a genuine smile. He's looking at the quaint two story house with a smile.
"Welcome to mi casa." I joke. He unbuckled his seatbelt and we got out of the car.
"Are you sure you want me to stay here with you?" He asked me.
He bit his lip (for the millionth time that night) and his eyes held a slight sense of fear - it was as if I were suddenly going to change my mind on him and tell him to hit the road. I smiled gently and placed a hand on his shoulder, stepping him slightly closer to me.
"If I weren't sure of myself, you wouldn't even be here right now." I explained.
He seemed to understand as he nodded. I unlocked the door and let us both into the house. Only a lamp was on in the living room, just enough light for the two of us to see.
"Make yourself at home." I told him.
"You have a nice place." Matt said, sitting himself down on the couch.
"Thanks, Matty." I grinned, sitting down beside him on the couch.
Neither of us were tired considering it was only midnight. The clock ticked quietly as we sat in comfortable silence. We looked over at each other, staring in each other's eyes.
"I know this is kind of odd, but can I try something?" I ask him gently, putting a hand on his knee and leaning toward him.
"S-sure." He said, straightening up and leaning slightly forward too.
"Good. Just don't be afraid to ask me to stop." I smirked.
I leaned forward and gently pressed my lips against his. He seemed to draw back for a second, shocked and taking in a sharp breath.
"Are you okay?" I asked him softly.
"I've had bad experiences." Matt said softly, a quiet chuckle to his voice as his eyes became distant.
"I'm not going to hurt you. I promise. That's not me." I told him. I brought my hand up to caress his neck. He looked up and smiled.
"Okay then. If you promise. I trust you, Nate." Matt said, reconnecting our lips.
I brought my free hand around the small of his back and I pulled him closer. I swiped my tongue across his bottom lip and he allowed me entrance. The kiss deepened and he titled his head, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me closer. Now, our chests were touching. I smiled into the kiss and gently swiped my tongue across his. I felt him reach beneath my beanie, tangling his fingers in my hair. He tugged gently on my hair and I pulled back from him. My beanie fell off my head and he grew flustered.
"I-I'm sorry." He apologized, loosening his grip on my hair.
"It's fine, my love," I tightened my arms around his waist, "tug as hard as you want."
I connected my lips to the side of his neck and I instantly felt his grip tighten in my hair. He gently whimpered as I found his sweet spot.
"N-Nate." He whimpered softly. I continued on with what I was doing.
"N-Nate, I can't do this." He said.
This caught my attention and I pulled back from him.
"What's wrong?" I ask him softly.
"L-like I said. Bad experiences." He said with a shaky breath.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked.
He shuddered slightly as a quiet sob left his lips. I pulled him into my arms. He wrapped his arms around me crying into my collar. Maybe I pushed him?
