ch. 2

Half way through the drive I knocked out but was quickly awakened by the bickering between Briana and Gabby. I check my phone to see that it was now 6 pm and by looking at my surroundings I could tell we were close to Houston. I laid there in the backseat scrolling through twitter for a while until Briana saw that I was awake.

"Great Sydney, you're awake can you please help me find the hotel Gabby is literally no help." Gabby rolled her eyes a starting telling Briana that she was a bad driver. I sat up and started the route on google maps to the hotel. We were staying downtown which was great because we would be able to walk around and try new places.

Driving into Houston at night was beautiful. I've grown up living out in the middle of nowhere. There was something about the city that attracted me and made me want to stay.

When we finally got to the hotel the girls dropped me off in the front to check us in. The hotel was very nice, almost to nice. There was a lot of people in t-shirts and shorts, more specifically Houston Astros t-shirts. After winning the World Series last year they have become huge. I was never much of a baseball girl but after playing softball for most my life I pretty much knew the game.

Once I was done checking in I met the girls in the parking garage and helped them get all of our suit cases. Even though we were only staying for a few days we packed A LOT. It was 8 by the time we got to the room so we started getting ready to go out.

"We have to make sure Gabby looks hot tonight. She needs to get over Matt, he was no good for her." Briana said blending her eyeshadow. I agreed, we all needed to get our minds off of lots of things and hopefully tonight would help.

I finished up my makeup and walked over to my suitcase. Since we were most likely just going to a club I decided to wear a cropped shirt with a high waisted skirt. I sat next to the window and waited for the girls. I got onto Instagram and scrolled through my feed seeing the usual summer posts from everyone.

"Alright I think we're finally ready to go." Gabby said walking out of the bathroom putting in her ear ring.

"Alright let's go!"
