"Drew, you are the slowest person to walk the Earth!" The boy laughed as he banged his fist against her bedroom door, trying to get her to come out in time so they could make the train on time.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." She opened the door ran past him to the front door, pulling on grey high top converse. "God, Parker, you're so impatient." She rolled her eyes, finishing tying her shoes. Peter laughed softly. Drew bounced up, pulling her backpack off of the counter and onto her back. "Ready?" She smiled. Peter nodded and opened the door for Drew. They walked out the door, Drew locking it behind them.

"Did you study for the algebra test?" Drew asked on the way to the train. Every morning Peter would go to her apartment, and they would walk to the train, ride the train to school, and then meet Ned and MJ, their two best friends, there.

"No." Peter laughed. "I was with you last night until, like, 12. When I got home I literally crashed." He said, remembering how he had stayed at her apartment much later than expected, due to their movie marathon and in-depth conversation. They hadn't had an in-depth conversation for a long time since Peter had been MIA for the past few weeks. He'd been to school, but other than that it was like he was off the grid. Drew had asked him about it, but he said it was all having to do with his Stark Internship. She had just nodded along, but it felt like even Ned was hiding something.

She was also in relations with Tony Stark, as he had been helping her train and control her powers. He had become like another father to her. When Peter told her about the Stark internship, all she wanted to do was tell him about how she was at the tower training a lot, and how Mr. Stark had made her gloves that would help her control her powers during a fight. He had mentioned something to her about making a suit for her, but she didn't think he was serious.

"Oh, sorry." She laughed. "But it was worth it." She smiled at him as they stepped into the train station.

"Mhm," He hummed, checking his watch. "It's 9:27, the train should be here any second." Drew nodded, rocking back and forth between her heels and her toes. Peter didn't mention it, but he thought her outfit was pretty. She was wearing a white shirt with sunflowers dotted around it, and wore ripped black overalls over it. Her old converses were a nice touch, as well as her round glasses, which she usually only wore at home or when she was only going to be around Peter, MJ, and Ned. "Do you have anything going on after school?" He asked. "Because we could do what we did last night, if you want."

"I'm really sorry, Peter. I have stuff going on. I really, really want to, though." Drew sighed, wishing she could blow off training and hang out with him.

"It's okay. We have decathlon later, though. You're missing that?" Peter asked. Drew let a slight groan escape her lips as she realized that they had practice today. She told Tony to never schedule training on Wednesdays, and he usually didn't. The light began flashing and the train came into view. Once it stopped and the two got on the train, they found two seats next to each other and sat down.

"I really wanna go. I'll see if I can move my plans." She sighed, pulling out her phone. She unlocked it and went into her contacts, pulling up a contact that said 'Uncle Oliver'. It wasn't really Oliver since Oliver's contact was just 'Oliver'. The Uncle Oliver contact was basically a code name for Mr. Stark, so she could text him without knowing. "Can we reschedule for tonight? I have decathlon and don't want to miss it." She waited for a response, shutting her phone off and putting her head on Peter's shoulder. "Are they already at school?" Drew yawned.

"Yeah, Ned just texted me." Peter nodded gently. No, they aren't together, but to most people, that's how it would look. They had been close since they first met, and had always appeared as a couple ever since. But, everyone who knew them knew that they were just close. Except for Ned and MJ of course, who had always seen the truth even though Drew and Peter didn't see it.

Within a few minutes, the train had pulled up to the mini-station at the front of the school and Peter and Drew climbed off of it. They walked in silence, each of them pulling their earbuds on and ignoring the world. They split once they had to go to their lockers, each of them sharing a small 'goodbye' before waving and walking in different directions. Drew quickly put in her combination and opened her locker, beginning to take out the books she needed.

"So... Ned told me you and Peter talked last night." A voice came up from behind her.

"MJ..." Drew laughed slightly, hiding her face in her locker.

"What'd you talk about?" MJ asked. Drew closed her locker and turned around.

"Not much. We really just caught each other up on what we've missed." She shrugged, beginning to walk to her first-period class.

"So you two didn't confess your undying love for each other?"

"MJ!" Drew gasped, hitting the girl in the arm.

"I'm just kidding, you know that." MJ laughed. "But that didn't happen?"

"No, that didn't happen." Drew shook her head, laughing.

"Damn." MJ sighed.

"Drew," MJ said, leaning towards her. "Drew," She repeated. "Drew!" She exclaimed, snapping her out of her trance. Drew's head whipped around to face her.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"You were staring."

"I was not!"

"Mhm." MJ nodded, looking towards the opposite end of the lunch table, where Peter and Ned were sitting. "You, Drew Michaels, were just staring at Peter Parker." MJ announced, loud enough for only Drew to hear her.

"Sh!" Drew put her hand over MJ's mouth, preventing her from talking anymore and saying anything that may embarrass her.

"Okay, okay, I might have been staring. But what does that matter?" She whispered harshly, uncovering the girl's mouth. MJ smirked.

"Undying love," MJ said, pretending to cover it up with a cough.

"God, I hate you."
