"Uncle Oliver?

"Mhm?" Oliver responded, turning around.

"I feel weird."

"Que?" Oliver asked, walking over and feeling her forehead. "You have a fever." He recognized this heat, it was like what she felt like at the hospital after the fire. "Go lay on the couch, I'll bring you some water." Water probably wasn't the best solution, but this was his first time taking care of a sick child. He was the youngest person in his family, so he never had anyone to take care of.

She nodded and turned, but stopped dead in her tracks.

"Uncle Oliver?" She repeated her original statement, turning back around to him. She held up her hands and showed him that there were flames emitting from her hands, resting on her palms. Both of their eyes went wide, each of them unsure of what to do.

"Que demonios!" He yelled, seeing her hands. "Are those coming from... your hands? Don't move." He held his hands out in front of him, attempting to keep her back. "Duele?" He added quickly, unsure of what to do.

"N-No, it doesn't. What's happening?" She stuttered, her voice panicked and scared.

"I don't know!" He exclaimed. There was nothing in their small apartment that could help them. "This is the most insane thing I've ever seen! I can't-"

"Ayudame!" She interrupted him. He turned to her.

"I don't know how! It's not every day that someone just has fireballs coming out of their hands!" He exclaimed, rubbing his eyes quickly as if to make sure he wasn't dreaming. Suddenly, the fire in Drew's hands went away.

"I'm scared!" She exclaimed, holding her hands out in front of her just in case that would happen again. Neither of them knew what to do. Who would have guessed that the fire would have given her powers?

"Aren't we all, at this point?"

"That's not helping, Uncle Oliver."

"Well, I figured it wasn't going to help, but I felt like I needed to get that out there, you know?"

"Can we please fix me?" She asked, even though she knew there would be no solution. She didn't know for fact, but she had a feeling that she was stuck with these powers.

"I really don't know how we can."
