All I can hear is sobbing.

I wake up in some kind of cell. Not one of the rooms Thanom kept Phoenix in, but an actual cell.

I take a deep breath, and smell death strong in the air.

I open my eyes and look around, glancing. I retch as I find the source of the smell.

Jimmin lays in the same cell as me. His throat is a ripped mess and his eyes are missing. Martina is in another cell, horrible sobbing coming from her.

"Martina?" I croak.

She just continues to sob.

I stand, and walk around the cell. I can cover it in a few strides.

"Is there a way out?" I ask Martina.

"No." She eventually said.

"Martina, what happened?" I ask again.

"Before you attacked Thanom, we were captured by Undead. We made it to the portal, but we couldn't make it out. A man was there. He looked like Thanom. He.. He attacked Jimmin. Oh, Fyre! We need to go home! We've been here almost a month! Justin has to be so worried!"

"Justin?" I ask.

"Our son." She says. "He's only 8. But there is no doubt the powers have transfered to him already."

"We can worry about that later. For now, we have to figure a way out of here."

Martina offers no help. She goes back to sobbing over Jimmin. I walk around the small cell, and lay my hands on the bars. They seem very weak.

"Do you think ice magic could break these?" I ask.

"Don't know if you noticed, Fyre, but there are no Muz down here." Martina growled.

I ignore the attitude from her, and rest my hands on the bars. I allow magic to flow onto the bars and cover them in a thick coat of ice.

I inhale, and allow my divine flames to funnel out, making sure they're as hot as possible. The ice shatters, but makes no dents in the bars.

"Shit." I whispered.

"How did you do that?" I hear Martina ask.

"Thanom gave me more powers." I said. "Do you know anything about divine flame?"

"Only that Broxly and Gwynevere used them in your pantheon."

"Hmm."

Yong'in had said that I was Broxly's daughter. I wondered if it was true.

Before Martina could continue, a door opened up somewhere. I took a deep breath and smelled Lea.

"How're you holding up?" She purred when she walked to my cell.

I growled, and Martina stared her down.

"Why'd you kill Jimmin?" Martina bellowed

Lea laughed, a sound like bells.

"He isn't necessary to Thanom's plans. He isn't much of a Shifter, and besides he was old and boring."

"You can't just kill him!" Martina screamed, a strong gust of wind errupting from her. I had to grab a bar to keep from falling over. Lea look unbothered.

"Oh, Honey. I already did." Lea said, laughing.

Martina fell to the floor and weeped.

Lea looked up at me.

"Phoenix has about fifteen minutes left, Fyre. Soon you'll be reduced to the same state as Martina. Don't worry, though. Aspen is a great lover."

"You're an evil witch! Vane have mercy on your soul!" Martina screamed at the woman.
