After class, Meliodas headed down to SDS' hidden headquarters. But he had to make sure she didn't track him or follow him, so he went home to change clothes before he got there. It was already alarming enough that Elizabeth was gutsy enough to show her true nature in school.

Meliodas stood outside Dreyfus' door until they allowed him to enter. He was talking to other specialists, so he had to wait outside, which gave him more time to be frustrated at Elizabeth. She wasn't good at provoking him to lash out, but hell, it annoyed him.

"Meliodas," Dreyfus called when the specialists left his office. The taller man wore an unreadable expression, which made him feel uneasy. He only came back to report on his mission and ask about Elizabeth, but now he was thinking of getting scolded and being given the sigh of disappointment.

They sat in silence for a minute before Dreyfus spoke, "what are you here for? Was it about your failed mission last night?" Meliodas groaned and nodded, "I know King already told you, but I wanted to tell you in person. Yeah, I failed the mission."

Dreyfus gave him an unimpressed look, "anything else? I've thought past your failure, but I'd like to know what really happened." Meliodas rolled his eyes with a sigh, "I got startled, she looked right at the scope, I know it's ridiculous but she's a first."

There it was, the sigh of disappointment, "you've been here for years and a look from a woman makes you miss, shame, Meliodas." The blond nodded, "I know, I also want to know more about this woman because I also failed to go through the files King sent, he only gave me a brief summary of some sort last night."

Dreyfus leaned on his chair, "easy. She's a master of manipulation, her acting is exquisite, you'll never see someone as two-faced as her. She's also known your existence and who you truly are for quite a while, but she kept low. I'm guessing she befriended you and there was a moment where you didn't want to kill her?"

Right on point, Dreyfus.

Meliodas reluctantly nodded, intrigued about Elizabeth but the more he knew, there left a sick taste in his mouth, "I knew nothing about the girl that could have potentially killed me hundreds of time when we were alone?"

Two-faced.

Ah, that was acting.

"You didn't do your research," Dreyfus scolded, opening a drawer and pulling out a matted black folder. A specific folder for the SDS Specialists. Dreyfus passed the folder across the table for Meliodas to see the white bold letters,

Z  E L D R I S

At the sight of his little brother's name, he glared at Dreyfus, not caring if he was his boss, "why are you showing me this?" Dreyfus chuckled at the sudden rage, "open it and look at the cause of death, dear Meliodas."

Meliodas rolled his eyes, opening the folder, he saw Zeldris' picture, his statistics, his specialties, and—

Cause of death: Unknown.

"It's like it was before, it's still unknown," Meliodas closed the folder, passing it back to Dreyfus, who took it and put it back in his drawer. The older man clicked his tongue to get Meliodas' attention, "not anymore."

"Explain," Meliodas demanded, if it was anything else, he would have not cared. But anything related to his brother would instantly catch his attention. "We just recently found out who killed your brother, Meliodas!" Dreyfus cheered in a fake enthusiastic tone. Meliodas wasn't impressed and waited for Dreyfus to continue.

"He was killed by another specialist from the ARC," Dreyfus smirked, "Specifically a person who has the same specialty as him," his smirk grew, which made Meliodas feel a hundred times uneasy. "A person with a specialty with blades? There are a lot of people that could have killed him with—"

 Are you fucking kidding me?

"That's right, Elizabeth Liones killed your brother over a year ago."

Meliodas was in a mix of emotions. He just found out about who the person he's known for months and just recently formed a friendship with, and now to know that person killed his only brother? If Melidoas was a computer, he'd overheat and shut down.

But he was human and he had emotions, he was enraged, "Fucking bitch," He cursed. All the pain and anger coming back to him from when he learned about Zeldris' death. He was oddly happy that he was in such a state, that would mean that his newfound hatred to his newfound friend was going to drive him.

Drive him to kill her.
