The next day, Meliodas and Elizabeth ignored each other at school. They acted as if they've never met before. It didn't help that any time Elizabeth could whip out a knife against his neck if all was clear, and his rage from the information about his brother was still fresh. It wasn't safe for them on anyone in the vicinity.

"Are you sure about this?" King asked, tapping away on his laptop to find where Elizabeth was. Meliodas may have ignored her all day, but he still had ways to drop the tiniest tracker in her hair. Meliodas nodded with his brows furrowed, staring at the screen.

King sighed, pressing enter, "here." Meliodas saw Elizabeth's tracker beeping. She was at a cemetery far from the headquarters. He exhaled, taking out his gun to make sure it was loaded, and checked if he had extra bullets. King looked back at him. "you're going now?"

"Yeah, to finish the mission and get my revenge. Kill two birds with one stone," Meliodas shrugged, giving him a blank stare. "She might visit someone, you know, you should at least wait for her to finish," King suggested. Meliodas chuckled, "that's something coming from you, King."

"Whatever that means, that doesn't mean I don't have heart, come on. She's probably spending time with a loved one," King continued, making Meliodas wave his hand dismissively, "she'll just join them."

King sighed, closing his laptop and taking the keys from his table, "I'll drive you then. It's a bit far." Meliodas only nodded before they headed their way out. It was a bit of a long ride, and Meliodas was getting restless, and the silence in the van made it worse. So, he asked King a few questions.

"How long have you been in the organization?" Meliodas asked, watching King drive, also catching the glance from the rearview mirror. "A long time, from when the founders created it ten years ago."

"Oh, so you're old," Meliodas deadpanned. King snorted, "no, I'm not! I'm only nineteen, Meliodas." He rolled his eyes at the blond, "Dreyfus may look like he's in his thirties but is twenty-four. He's pretty young for looking like a geezer." Meliodas chuckled at King's comment, "then what do you guys specialize in?"

Now that Meliodas was asking about it, he realized that he didn't know much about Dreyfus or King. Although he'd been close to both of them for years, he never asked about them. He didn't think it was interesting until now.

King hummed, thinking, "Dreyfus is a man of many skills, and as for me, I guess a bit of everything?" He laughed, making Meliodas suddenly feel uneasy, "a bit of everything?"

The brunette nodded, then looked at Meliodas through the rearview mirror again, "and for my first trick, double-check your gun and bullets," the temperature in the van dropped along with the tone of his voice. It sent chills to Meliodas' spine as he slowly put his hand over his holster. His gun was missing.

Meliodas looked down; the extra bullets were still there. He looked up at King in a panic. He was driving with one hand while the other held Meliodas' gun. What was worse, King looked stoic while he looked ahead, "here." He tossed the weapon back to Meliodas, with him clumsily catching it.

"How did you do that?" Meliodas asked, putting back the gun in his holster, making sure that it was secure. "There are things you shouldn't ask, you wouldn't like the answer," King paused, "but for that, I took it while you were walking. You didn't feel it being snatched away."

Meliodas instinctively put his hand over his gun again as a form of defense. A new sense of danger was inside the van, and it was emitting from King. He's never felt this nervous around him since all he's seen him do in the past was click on his computer and drive everyone around. He never saw King do anything else but that.

That was all King showed.

"Don't be scared. I don't hurt anyone within the SDS unless they betray us, but you're no doing that so," King shrugged, then stopped the car in front of the cemetery gates and turned to face Meliodas, who had the gun pointed at King's head, "put the gun down."

His voice sent chills down Meliodas' spine again. He had to put his gun down and put it back in his holster. "We're here. She's probably seen us and ready for a fight. She's not far. You can see her silver hair from here," King turned back to the windshield and looked through, spotting her immediately.

"I'll be going then," Meliodas put his hand on the handle to open, but King made him stop for a bit, "keep in touch with the communicator. If anything happens, I'll call back up." The way King could shift his tone in a matter of seconds bothered Meliodas, but he pushed it off. He had other things to deal with right now.

He only nodded before leaving the van. King watched as the blond entered the cemetery, a small smile spread across his lips. He knew who Elizabeth was visiting since he was the one who brought the person there.
