Chapter eighteen

"So, how did it go? I'm sorry I didn't get to ask yesterday", Tony greeted his bestfriend.

"What? Oh, with Thor and Loki? It was nice actually", Bruce admitted.

"Really? 'Cause Steve told me that Thor and Loki aren't in the best terms", Tony blurted.

"Yeah, that's what I thought at first, but then again they are siblings. And siblings do fight, right?" Bruce confirmed.

"Yeah, I guess so", Tony nodded.

"Plus, I'm sure it's more of a misunderstanding than them not being in good terms. I think they both care for each other great deal, or at least Thor does, they just don't know how to show it", Bruce wondered.

Tony looked at his bestfriend surprised. Bruce seemed to be... Into those brothers? After just one lunch?

"Wow.. You really figured them out quickly?" Tony hinted.

Bruce looked back confused.

"I mean, Steve has been Thor's friend for a pretty long time, and even he thought they just didn't like each other", Tony explained.

"Oh", Bruce got out.

After that they didn't really say anything, just walked to class.

At lunch Tony always sits between Steve and Bruce. Usually on Bruce's other side there's either Clint or Natasha. But this time Thor sat there. Tony raised his brow when sitting in his place.

"Oh, right, Bruce do you need any help with the tech comp?" Tony asked.

"Not yet, but I'll let you know if I do", Bruce answered smiling.

It seemed like a normal lunch for everyone except Tony. Bruce chatting with Thor wasn't that unusual, but especially after Tony's and bruce's morning talk, Tony was suspicious. He didn't fully focus on anything else.

"Tony you have a little bit of food there", Steve tried to point out.

"Hm? Did you say something honey?" Tony really wasn't paying attention to anything besides Bruce and Thor.

"Just, let me-", suddenly Steve licked the food of Tony's cheek.

Tony was wide-eyed for a moment, but then grinned: "But Steve, do you really want to do that in front of others?"

Oh how the tables have turned. It ended up being Steve who blushed.

"Please, get a room!" Bucky groaned, making everyone laugh.

"Finally last class, right?" Steve hinted sitting next to Tony.

Tony didn't register Steve. He was too deep in his thoughts.

Steve raised a brow: "Earth to Tony?"

"Yeah I'm here!" Tony almost yelled.

Steve chuckled and gave his boyfriend a peck on the cheek.

"No need to yell, I'm right here", Steve smiled.

"Oh, right, hi", Tony mumbled.

Steve surveyed Tony, then asked: "Is everything okay?"

"Hm? Yeah, I guess.." Tony slouched in his seat.

"Yeah, that was more of a rhetorical question. So, tell me, what are you thinking about so heavily?" Steve questioned.

"Well.. It's Bruce. And Thor. And I guess Thor's brother too?"

"Loki?"

"Yeah, whatever. Bruce was at Thor's on saturday, right? And he went to a lunch with the brothers. I don't know what happened there but don't you think they just suddenly got much closer?" Tony explained.
