The next week at school seemed to be normal. There was a football game coming, and since these started to be the last games for seniors, all the seniors were all about the game. Or at least almost all the seniors. Tony couldn't have cared less about football. It was just a simple game that the jogs with no brains played. Bruce didn't really care either. His feelings towards football weren't as negative as Tony's, but sports weren't really his thing. Natasha didn't care and she had been hanging out with Tony's gang again. Mainly because Steve, Thor, Bucky, Pietro and Sam were all in the team, so the game was pretty much all they talked about at that point. Clint was of course interested, 'cause hello his big ass crush was in the football team. Pepper, oh Pepper, she was interested. Way too much to be honest. But of course she couldn't show that to Tony or the others, so she was mostly quiet about the whole subject.

To Steve, the whole football thing and friday's game were important, of course. But he wanted to talk/think about something else too. That's why in classes he really put himself into studying. And when he got the chance, he talked with Natasha. At some point when he was talking with Natasha about something regarding to school, they were interrupted.

"What are you doing here?" a voice growled.

Steve turned around. It was Tony. Of course it was.

"Tony cut it off we were just talking", Natasha hissed at him.

Tony rolled his eyes.

"I guess I should get going", Steve looked at Natasha, then Tony.

"Yeah, I think you should", Tony confirmed.

After Steve was gone both Natasha and Pepper looked angrily at Tony. Tony looked at them and shook his head questiongly. Natasha just huffed and went away. Pepper however...

Pepper started: "Tony you really should be nicer to him. It's frigging confusing when you talk about him non-stop, and then treat him like that. Also I want to go to the game this friday and you're coming with me."

"We are going to the game? Awesome! I was about to ask, or probably more like beg, you to come, but apparently I don't have to", Clint seemed full of joy.

He basically glowed. And Tony groaned loudly.

Steve really didn't get why Tony hated him. What had he done to him? He was nice to him. Steve was nice to everyone. But Tony seemed to only dislike Steve more every time he tried to be nice to him. What did he do wrong? He really didn't want Tony to hate him. He had always seen Tony as funny and nice guy. Maybe a bit selfish and cocky, but Steve knew Tony had a caring side. Steve knew Tony was a good person. And he was cute too.. Wait, what? Did Steve really think Tony was cute? No, that couldn't be. But then again Tony was actually good looking, and hey who cared nowadays if a boy found another boy good looking?

The day was coming to end. Last class for Steve and Tony was English. They were both walking to class, not really paying attention where exactly they were going. Pam! They both had crashed to something. Turns out they walked into eachother. And, well, they ended up in an interesting pose. Tony was laying on the floor and Steve, oh boy, Steve was on top of him. They looked at eachother. It took a moment for their brain to function the position they were in. Then both started blushing furiously and looked away.

"Get off me!" Tony yelled.

Steve did get off, but it wasn't smooth and easy. Few times he actually almost fell on to Tony again. After he managed to get up and stand still he offered Tony his hand. Tony looked at the hand and then Steve. He slapped it away and got up on his own and walked to his seat. Steve felt a pain in his chest. Why? He stood there hand reached out for a brief moment. Did Tony hate him that much? And if he did, why did it hurt so much?
