ShadAmy Chapter 5- Caught up in the Web

"Good morning Shadow." I woke up to Rouge's voice, and a soft kiss on the nose. My eyes popped open with a gasp I sat up. I had fell asleep at Rouge's house, even worse in her bed... with her in it!

"I have breakfast ready. Come and eat." She said patting between my ears.

'Amy! What about Amy!?' My mind raced, 'What's going on? I don't want you to feel you waited till it was too late Wait, I basically told her she had a chance to get with me!' I looked around and got up smelling her cooking and my stomach growled.

"Hey, you coming or what?" She asked happily standing in the door way.

"I uh... Sure, just a second." I looked her up and down. She had taken a morning shower and was still dressed in a light purple silk robe and fuzzy house slippers. She nodded and walked back to the kitchen. I got up and found the bathroom.

"What did I get myself into...?" I asked myself over and over. When I was finished in the bathroom I sat myself at her table and was given some eggs and bacon, with some toast.

"Hope you like it." She winked.

"Thanks." I tried not to sound overwhelmed with my thoughts.

'Okay, maybe this won't be bad." I said on my way to Amy's house. 'Maybe she won't take up my offer.' I stood at the door after knocking 3 times.

"Oh Shadow. Rouge gave you my message. Are you feeling better?" She answered the door the smell of baking cookies trailed out from the oven.

'No...' "Yes I'm better." I said looking down and played with a spike behind my head.

"Please come in." She said taking my hand and pulled me in. "Look about that night. I'm sorry. I was... just so shocked and I needed time to think."

"Right, I could understand." I said.

"So, I thought about it, and..."

'Oh no...'

"I'd love to go out with you Shadow. After all it would be better than running after someone and getting nothing in return."

'...Shit!' "Really that's great!" My eyes lit up and we instantly hugged each other tightly.

"So our first date, where should we have it?" She asked now playing with my ears. I watched her hands and her content smile and I began to relax. She has no idea what tangle I got into and for a while I thought, maybe I could keep both of them happy.

"Well uh..." I thought.

"I don't want it too crowded... but not completely deserted..." She began to pace the floor.

"Uh, Amy... how about, a movie and pizza? I don't mind that if your okay with it."

She gasped, "It sounds wonderful! How about, tomorrow?"

"Sure." I smiled.

She squealed and danced around the room coming back and hugging me tightly, "Oh I'm so excited! It'll be so fun!"

I couldn't help but laugh with her.

So tomorrow I would have my date with Amy. But when I got home and my mind started to blabber about the days events and let me think, I remembered Rouge's good morning kiss. Which she's never done that to me before, and we slept together, so close. Can I keep both of them happy, with out getting caught and in a mess? But just because I might be able to get away with it, that doesn't make it right! It doesn't mean I should do it. And Rouge knows I'll have Amy, at one point wouldn't she get jealous? And try to ruin my relation ship with Amy? My head started to hurt, all these thoughts swimming around I had to get a opinion, some advise not just my own thoughts arguing with each other but someone to help me get things straight and organized.

But who??
