Mavis' Point of View
I went to school in a good mood after that day, smiling to everyone that greets me. I even smiled to AJ who’s just sitting on his chair with no emotion.
I’m just so happy, I quite don’t know why. Maybe a part of it was Rianne is absent and Allen is just busy cramming on his phone. It’s better this way. My heart is resting from pain for a while.
It was a busy day, full of paper works and lectures. Soon classes ended and we’re off. I decided to do my homeworks alone in our room in advance. And when I finished, I saw that the sky is getting dark. It’s my second time here in the campus getting late heading home.
As soon as I’m outside, I saw a glimpse of Allen’s bag, his signature black backpack going into a dark alley. So, I followed him to confirm and hoping that it really is Allen..

AJ's Point of View
“See you next time, bro.”
“Yeah, sure.” I bid farewell to my old pal and walked away.
I passed our empty school that reminds me of many annoyance.
I was walking home when I heard a familiar voice coming from a narrow street. What caught my attention is the other voice with him. A female’s.
So, I stayed hidden and listened to their conversation.
“Why didn’t you reply to my text, Allen? I confessed everything to you! Why don’t you give importance to my message? To me?!” Rianne yelled.
“You’re drunk, Rianne.” Allen said with a bored tone. “And I don’t have anything to say to you. And also, I’m tired of trying hard to socialize. I’m tired of the cover-ups. I’m tired with my coward self. I miss bonding with my closest friends, I miss the fun and laughter.. I miss Em.”
“I don’t need those crap! What I want is you!” Rianne angrily said. I took a peek and saw her almost throwing herself to Allen. What a pitiful woman.
“I’m already taken. By Em. You’re the only one who knows this besides my friends.” That shut her up. Her jaw literally dropped and it took some time for her to speak again.
“S-So?” She said with a hoarse voice. “Leave her! For me!”
“We don’t know each other, Rianne. We’re only classmates. And there’s no chance we could ever be more than that.”
“No! Don’t say that! I know you like me! Many guys want their hands on me!” She said while grabbing Allen’s shirt with her two strong hands and shaking him. Allen was being pushed on the wall.
