~Ally's POV;~
A new day, a new bar. Southern Comfort. This being the closest destination with the name 'Southern Comfort', makes it our safest bet and strongest lead. We're finally here after a short matter of hours, hopefully in time to see Stefan before he leaves with Klaus for a different location. Waiting for Katherine to bring a stolen car last night took about an hour, her speedy running vampire skills got her to the gas station in under a couple of minutes, but the car got her here in under an hour. The drive took at least 7 hours. But none of that matters now, we're here in Tulley, near the border, off of Highway 41, outside of Southern Comfort to somehow get Stefan away from Klaus again. I know that Stefan told me to go home and to just let him go, but I can't do that. What kind of a best friend would I be if I didn't pull him back from the edge then bring him home and back to Elena? What kind of a girlfriend would I be if I didn't help Damon get his brother back? I owe it to everyone and to Stefan to get him back home again, he doesn't deserve all this pain Klaus is putting him through. And after saving my life with his blood yesterday, I know he can be saved. Stefan's still in there behind all that guilt, and I'm gonna save him. He could of finished me off and fed from me, but he didn't. He fed me his blood and saved my life. I'm saving my best friend whether he wants saving or not.
"Hey. We haven't got all day." Katherine's voice called loudly from outside of the car, by the window to the left of me. I snapped out of my momentary daze and opened the door as I answered stressfully, feeling my body ache in response to getting hastily out of the car, "Yep. I'm coming." Closing the door behind me, I followed Katherine as she led the way for the bar - that's sign read clearly in big bold writing; Southern Comfort. With all the motorbikes parked outside and the painted guitar on the sign, I stated with amusement "It certainly has a Southern Comforty kind of feel to it." Katherine pushed open the doors as she teased over her shoulder at me "Tell me about it." With Katherine leading the way inside, I followed close behind her to be welcomed by more Southern music and minimal conversation. Tugging at the collar of my jacket, I glanced around expectantly, hoping to find Stefan and Klaus here with Ray. But looking from one unfamiliar face to another, the bar appeared to be rid of them. They're not here. We were too late, again. Katherine growled under her breath, with stressed impatience in her narrowed eyes, "Just perfect." I glanced to my left at the two men chatting away, infront of a table loaded with empty beer bottles, in hope that they have been here long enough to have seen them before they left.
Approaching the table, I asked with impatience, keeping calm and polite, "Did either of you happen to see three men in here, perhaps having a heated conversation? One with big styled hair and a brooding look on his face accompanied by a guy with a British accent?" Katherine appeared beside me, folding her arms across her chest as she listened urgently. The guy closest to me looked up and answered blankly "I saw nothing." His eyes stared at me with an empty honesty, as his mouth revealed no more than that. I glanced at Katherine and asked nervously, feeling weary for her answer, "Compulsion?" Katherine nodded and answered with a frustrated grin "Yep. Klaus and Stefan are covering their tracks." I glanced over by the bar then walked over to it, in a desperate attempt to find some sort of lead, something that perhaps was purposely left behind or by mistake.
However as I got closer to the bar, the pool tables became clearer and so did the blood stained onto the bright green cloth of the playing surface. Feeling Katherine stand close beside me, I asked with concern "Covering their tracks, huh?" Katherine walked around the pool table and took a bloody dart from the wall as she answered calmly, whilst deep in thought, "Maybe not so much, but we still have no idea where they've headed off to now." Tapping my fingers on the side of the pool table, I remained deep in thought and said "Well we know that Ray belongs to a group of wolves, so I assume that all this blood was their way of getting the location of the wolf pack from him-" Katherine struck the dart into the cloth surface of the pool table as she continued my speculation with confidence in her perception "Then they could have turned him." I nodded slowly and said with understanding, starting to put the pieces together, "The only reason they would have left here, is if they had got the location from him." Katherine brushed her finger across the bloody patch on the table as she added confidently "Then they possibly turned Ray and took off with him for the pack's location to start turning all of them..." She sighed impatiently and asked herself, as if only her intelligent mind would know the answer, "But where?" I glanced at the calender on the wall by the bar and stated with realisation, finally coming to understand where they must be, "It's a full moon tonight-" I glanced back at Katherine and continued with unshaken confidence and certainty in my theory "They can't be heading too far from here." With that thought in mind, I walked away from the bloody pool tables and for the doors to the bar, in determination to get out of here.
