~Stefan's POV;~

No, no, no. We can't be here, we can't be back.

Klaus turned my way then stepped towards me intimidatingly as he stated with a wicked grin on his face "Now, we could go take a stroll, see what you're hiding here. Maybe even pop by your girlfriend Elena's to see what she's been up to-" I gulped fearfully with panic, and glanced over his shoulder at the Grill as he continued with a threatening smile "Or you could tell me exactly what you're keeping a secret, and then if it's forgiveable we'll leave." With heaps of cover stories, and lies being formed inside of my head I stepped towards Klaus and explained with urgency "There's nothing here, Klaus. Nothing I could hold onto, and nothing that I would want to. My life here is done." Klaus smirked and placed a hand on my shoulder as he warned with complete seriousness "Now if you weren't keeping anything a secret, then why would Rebekah overhear your slightly hurtful betrayal against me?" I remained calm, and relatively confident in my persuasive skills as I argued with desperation "She heard wrong, Klaus. My loyalty is to you." Klaus dropped his hand from my shoulder and snapped with a sinister look in his eyes "Rebekah's never wrong. She can't help herself when it comes to sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. But on the plus side, my sister's got flawless instincts: borderline supernatural..." I refrained from speaking a word of the truth as I continued pleadingly "Klaus-" He sighed with frustration and stated with a bitter grin "Your last chance to tell the truth, Stefan. Either that, or I will find out for myself, and I will find out the truth. One way or another." Klaus clenched his fists and watched me with domination burning in his narrowed, and suspicious eyes. This can't be it. I have to think of something, and now.

~Ally's POV;~

Sunlight gradually warmed my face as a signal that it's finally the morning; time to wake up for a new day. With little hesitance I opened my eyes and immediately found Damon lying beside me, and he looks amazing, as per usual. A smile lifted my lips as I turned my body towards him, and indulged in a well deserved stare at his godly beauty. How can someone be so gorgeous? His scruffy black hair compliments his innocent looking face, and his bare chest half covered with the bed sheet is enough to send me drooling like a creep. His eyelids closed, presenting his fairly long black eyelashes as he sleeps, and his faint breathing filling the silence with purity and perfection. Just being here beside him, and around him fills me with warmth and uncontrollable adoration. If I was a vampire, I could literally watch him sleep forever. Like a creepy, and awkward fangirl. But it would be a rewarding way to spend forever.

"Quit staring. It's creepy." Damon whispered whilst remaining perfectly still with his eyes kept closed. He exhaled and grinned smugly to himself; he loves the attention he's getting from me. As he placed his hand on mine and attempted to go back to sleep I interlocked my fingers with his, and cherished every feeling from this moment. Every little detail of his hands, and his entire being. For some reason I feel like I'm going to lose him whether that's because of how out of my league I feel he is or because of everything that's been going on right now I just can't shake this feeling, and I hate it. I never want to lose this, and I never want to lose him. "Technically I'm just admiring, not staring." I stated innocently whilst tracing my finger over his daylight ring, and blushing to myself. Damon smirked and teased with his confident snarky humour "Technically it's still creepy." I rolled my eyes at his sudden modesty, and got up out of bed to get dressed for another day. As I pulled on my jeans I glanced over my shoulder just as Damon closed his eyes from the sneaky glance he just took, and attempted to cover up. Whilst I quickly changed from Damon's t-shirt into my own I looked away from him and mumbled with a smug smile "Yeah, I'm the creepy one." Hearing Damon chuckle to himself I grinned with amusement, and then left his bedroom for the staircase. A new day, and hopefully it will be nice like yesterday.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs and walked into the living room Elena stood from the sofa and explained immediately with an apologetic smile "Hey, I'm sorry about yesterday, I wanted to tell you but Damon told me not to, and everything was just happening so quickly, I-" As my head shook in disagreement, I touched her arm reassuringly and said with a smile "Don't be sorry. I understand." She placed her mug of coffee down and instantly embraced me, wrapping her arms around my neck as I smiled and hugged her back with happiness. It's been a while. I've missed her. "I'm so glad you're home." Elena mumbled into my hair with an emotional laugh, whilst her hand rubbed my back. I clung to her, and refrained from crying as I said cheerfully back "Me too." After a moment I pulled away from our long awaited reunion, and slumped down onto the couch opposite her. As she sat back down on the couch, and retrieved her mug of coffee I asked with a small sympathetic smile "So Stefan pushed you away too, huh?" Elena sighed and fiddled with her necklace as she answered with a sad laugh "Yep. He looked me right in the eye, and even after everything we've been through he just didn't wanna know anymore." With disagreement I leaned forward on the couch and argued reassuringly with a confident smile "He's in there, Elena. I know he is. Klaus has done this to him, he's pushing us all away because he believes after everything he's done that he doesn't deserve to be saved-" Elena exhaled and looked down with uncertainty as I continued "But he does, and he will." She glanced down at her necklace and stated sadly with a discouraging smile "Yeah... I just miss him." I leaned into the couch and glanced up at the ceiling as I mumbled with upset "Tell me about it."
