Chapter 2

Elta's POV
I woke up, in the hospital with my dad at my side. I groaned and he looked at me. "Oh hun! I'm so sorry! I should have been home but we had just gotten another case-" I cut him off. "It's alright dad I know being the chief of police is hard so go file your report and I will talk to another officer" he nodded and left then sent over a another officer who looked to be about 18 or 19. "Hello Miss Night" he greeted and I nodded a response. "Do you mind if I ask you some questions?" He asked and I looked at him "Go ahead Officer Nick" I looked at my friend smiling. He smiled back and started and by the time we were finished he had written down everything about the attacker that I knew. "Alright, why don't you rest up and I will go back to the station" I nodded and closed my eyes. "Nick? Oh did you get the information?" I heard my father ask. "Yes sir, I did and I'm gonna head to the station." I heard the door shut and I opened my eyes. I was alone. The clock read 6:30pm. I sighed and stared at the ceiling.

Jeff's POV
"So yeah...she got away" I told Slenderman as I scratched my neck. "I see....well thank you, you are dismissed. Toby! Hoodie! Masky!" The three proxies walked into the room just as I walked out and to my room. I sighed before growling and throwing my knife at a wall. "I can't believe she got away! And I am not allowed to go killing!" I took a deep breath before flopping down onto my bed and staring at the ceiling. "She is lucky she got away" I said to myself wondering why I didn't kill her then run.

Elta's POV
While laying there in bed I heard the door open. I looked up and there was a boy, maybe 17 or 18 with brown hair, orange goggles and a mouth guard. "Um....hello?" I said and he looked at the chart at the end of my bed. "I-It's her" he said with a little tick. Then someone in a yellow hoodie came in along with another boy with a feminine mask. "Hello miss Night" the last boy who came into my hospital room said and I nodded a hello "Um, how can I help you?" He shook his head. "Don't fight, or scream" was all he said before moving towards me. I tried to get up and run but the pain surging in my left hand and arm sent me back down in the bed. I stared in fear as he stood next to the bag which was connected to my IV. His friend in the yellow hoodie handed him a syringe and he added the fluid into my IV. I struggled to stay conscious for a minute but then darkness consumed me.

Masky's POV
Once I had knocked out Miss Night it was fairly easy to unhook her from the machines and carry her out of the hospital. Though the tricky part was dealing with the doctors and nurses who saw us. There were about one or two but still, difficult to get out with out being seen. Slenderman didn't really explain why she was our target but we were to bring her to the mansion and put her in the guest room until tomorrow morning when we will bring her to breakfast with everyone. No causing any harm to her. I made Toby carry her most of the way until he started to complain then I took her seeing as Hoodie didn't want to touch her. Once we were inside, the other two went and sat down while I took her to the room. I laid her on the bed then pulled the covers over her. "There" I said as I walked out leaving the door cracked. I saw Jeff on my way out and all I said to him was "No harming her in anyway, Slendermans orders" he only nodded and I walked away.

Jeff's POV
Once Masky had disappeared I looked through the crack in the door and saw her. My anger flared when I did. "That bitch is lucky she is alive" I mumbled before going downstairs to play video games with Ben. After play CoD for a bit Slenderman called for dinner and handed Masky a plate telling him to give it to our guest. I growled, earning a smack on the back of the head from Masky. "Don't" was all he said before disappearing yet again. I just murmured to myself about why Slenderman was letting her live, she was just a mere human after all. We would just be saving her the trouble of dying later.

Elta's POV
I groaned as I sat up in the bed, realizing I wasn't in the hospital or my room. I looked towards the door and saw the boy from earlier. "Hello again" he said before walking in and setting a plate of food down next to me and turning away. "W-Wait! Um...Who are you and what is this place?" I asked and he turned back to me "I'm sorry, my name is Masky and this," he says motioning around the room "Is your new home" and then he left. I sighed not getting the answer I wanted then looked at the food. It was potatoes, chicken and bread. I grabbed the plate and started eating. "This is great" I mumbled to myself kind of upset that I was giving in. Then again it was good and I was starving so I ate it quickly before anyone could see. "So I was kidnapped, my father is be looking for me and they took my phone. What else could go wrong" that's when I felt someone staring at me. I looked towards the door and saw someone. "um....Masky? Is that you" I asked then heard the raspy voice, I will never forget it "No sweet cheeks, It's Jeff The Killer" he said as he walked over and I got a better look at him. I chucked the plate at him "Stay the hell away from me" I said hoping the plate would hit him in the face but instead he caught it and sighed "Slenderman is right, you are going to be a pain. No I'm not allowed to hurt you, I am here to give you water and take your plate." He walks over and places a glass of water on the nightstand. "How do I know it's not poisoned or something?" I asked and he just sighed. "I have orders along with everyone else who lives here not to harm you in anyway" He must have seen my satisfaction because he growled and turned away. "Just drink your water and stay in here until tomorrow morning" he said before leaving. I sighed and grabbed the water drinking it slowly not realizing how thirsty I was either. "I wonder if everyone is like that" I mumbled as I finished the water and set it back down. Sighing I stood up and walked over to the dresser. I opened it and saw some of my pajamas from home. I grabbed them and changed then sat back on the bed. "I can't believe I have to stay here" I said before laying down and drifting to sleep.

Who are you?
Elta! Stop it!
Mom! Mom is that you!
Elta! Stop! You're hurting mommy!
I saw my mother laying on the floor. I was 13 at the time. I had walked in on her and another man and something just clicked. I had grabbed the gun in my dads dresser and aimed it at the man. I laughed evilly before saying "I will show you hell" then I fired the weapon. My mother screamed but I just grabbed the man off my mother. I continued to smile as I grabbed her neck and squeezed. She started to cough and wheeze. "I will make you suffer before I show you hell" I whispered watching her eyes grow wide with fear. "E-Elta.....please stop....stop it....you're hurting mommy" those were her last words as I watched her life leave her body. Soon enough my father came home and I told him the man had strangled mom and that I shot him because he was coming towards me. My dad was obviously hurt but he believed my story. The charges against me from the mans family were dropped when they found out the story and they said they were sorry for what he did. "I'm not sorry" I had said to them before turning and walking away.

I sat up, covering my mouth to hide my screams. I started to cry silently to myself. "Mom....." was all I managed to say before Masky opened the door. "Come on, get changed then come out here" he said before shutting the door.
