Chapter 11

Jeff's POV
When I woke up the next morning i was in bed next to Elta. I smiled and stared at her sleeping figure, her hair was slightly messy and i could see the love bites i left on her the night before. She started to stir so i closed my eyes. I felt her place a gentle kiss on my lips. I opened my eyes again and smiled at her. "I like being woken up like that" she smiled and i sat up, she sat up as well. "I knew you were awake" she said before standing up and grabbing her clothes. Which i brought in last night, before i crashed. I smiled and stood up and got ready myself. Once i finished, i met her down stairs in the kitchen. I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist from behind. She giggled as i did this and i just smiled. "You're so beautiful" i whispered in her ear as she blushed. "Hello Jeff, would you like to introduce me to this lovely flower" I looked behind me and saw Offenderman who stood and made his way over holding a rose. I let go of Elta and stood between her and offender. "This is my lovely rose, so back off" i said growling slightly. He wasn't doing it so i stepped closer to him. "I'm not scared of you Jeff" he said, then i growled and launched at him. I dont know how long it took for someone to get between us. Offender punched who it was but they didn't care. Then in my cloud of anger i felt a small pair of arms wrap around me, knowing who it was. I pulled back from the fight holding Elta close, she took few punches to the back and a few to her sides. I turned my back to Offender. I was met by Slender. "Take her to EJ, let him inspect her wounds, offender's hits can do more then bruise" i nodded and carried Elta to EJ while Slender dealt with his brother. EJ took a look at her back and sides. "I dont see anything other then bruises but-" Elta whimpered loudly when EJ put pressure on one of the bruises, i instantly grabbed his hand but he pulled away "But, i can give her some sleeping medicine" i looked at Elta, and she nodded. He handed her some pills and some water, she downed them then slowly fell asleep. I sighed and took her to her room. "Well at least she will be alright" i saw her smile in her sleep and that made me smiled.

Elta's POV
I woke up, alone in my room. I sat up and rubbed my eyes sighing. The door opened and i jumped slightly before realizing it was Jeff. I relaxed and smiled at him. He smiled back but it faded. "Whats wrong?" I asked sitting up, wincing at the slight pain i had "I'm sorry, i should have walked away" he shuddered and i got up and walked over, smiling softly "i'm alright hun, just a little sore" he gently wrapped his arms around me holding me close. I sighed letting the scent of rain fill my senses. I don't know how or why he smells the rain but its comforting. I felt him shake and i looked up at him, i saw tears streaming down his cheeks. I gently wiped them away. "I should have kept you safe" he mumbled holding me tightly. I sighed "Its okay, its okay" Thats one thing i know very well about him, he's afraid of losing everyone who cares about him. I'm one of those people who if he lost, he'd give his life to bring me back. I pull myself closer to him, rest my head against his chest, hearing his heartbeat speed up. He chuckled softly. After a few minutes i pulled away. "Better?" He nodded "better" i smiled at him. "Why don't we go eat?" I suggested taking his hand. He lead me down the stairs into the kitchen. I quickly made something for us both then Slender came in and pulled Jeff aside. 'He's getting a lecture' the voice said i only sighed in response. 'He's leaving' that caught my attention. I looked up and saw Jeff storming out, i went to follow him but Slender stopped me. "Elta, let him calm down...." i shoved past Slender "im going after him, he could get hurt" i said and ran out the door. It was starting to get dark which i didn't like but i kept going deeper into the forest, praying to find him. After 30 minutes I stopped, it was getting cold and I couldn't see anything. I sat down on the ground, hoping someone would find me.

Jeff's POV
By the time i made it back to the mansion it was dark out. I went to my room hoping to find Elta but had no luck. I looked in her room, the bathroom, kitchen, basement, and i asked the others. No one had seen her since i stormed out. I finally asked Slender if he knew where she was. "Deep in the forest, still looking for you" was his response. I grabbed two jackets and a flash light and I immediately went into the forest again to look for her. It was getting colder by the second and it seemed to be getting darker. As each minute went on i became more worried. She can't survive very long in the dropping temperatures. I heard something in the distance, a snap of a twig or something falling. I ran in that direction hoping it was Elta. I found her on the ground, her skin ice cold. "Elta? Elta! Are you alright!?" I knelt down next to her and rolled her over onto her back gently. She wasn't responding. I picked her up and ran to the mansion. I took her to EJ. "EJ help her!" I said frantically. He checked her vitals and said she was fine. "Thank you" i said then took Elta upstairs to my room. I didn't care how cold she was. Once i was under the covers with her i held her close hoping she'd be okay. I kissed her forehead, "good night, i love you" i heard a sigh then "i love you too" i smiled and fell asleep.
