Chapter 10

Elta's POV
I screamed and opened my eyes. I felt two strong arms holding me. I tensed up as tears flowed down my cheeks. "Babe, its alright" said a kind but a little raspy voice. "J-Jeff?" I said, my voice shaky. He looked at me then dried my tears "I'm right here" he said as he rubbed my back "Are you alright?" I heard and i nodded "just a nightmare" I added as i snuggled close to him. "Im sorry want to talk about it?" He said sitting up and holding me close. I shook my head, he knew what it was about. 'He only wants to help' said the kind feminine voice in my head. I sighed, looked up and kissed him. His hands made their way to my waist while my arms wrapped around his neck. After a few moments i pulled away. "It was about what happened while i was with Zalgo" i felt his grip tighten slightly but i didn't pull away or move. "Jeff you're grip" i said calmly and he released me then got up. "I'll be right back" he left the room then came back with a glass of something hot. He handed it me "it'll help you sleep, drink it" i nodded and drank the hot liquid. I immediately felt warmer and it was a nice feeling. "Thank you" i said after i finished the drink and handed it to him then laid down. He took the glass to kitchen then came back and laid next to me. "Anything for you hun" he said, his voice giving away how tired he was. I snuggled close to him again this time welcoming sleep. He held me close as i drifted off the drink and Jeff's gentle humming helped me fall asleep quickly.
Jeff's POV
I started to hum softly to help Elta fall asleep. I had an idea about her nightmare but i wasn't going to say anything. I stayed awake for about an hour before drifting to sleep myself.
[the next day]
I woke up, looking and the woman i held in my arms. She was still sleeping soundly so i got up and headed to the kitchen and came back with a tray for food for her. "Elta, time to wake up" i said lightly shaking her. She sat up with a start, gripping onto me tightly. I rubbed her arms "hey, hey its only me" i said soothing her. "Sorry...its just-" i shushed her and set the tray on her lap. "We can talk after you eat." She only nodded and ate her breakfast while i ate the plate i had made myself. We talked over breakfast about her and I maybe going on a walk or going into town to hunt. I thought the walk would be nice, help her calm down. "How about we go on the walk, it'll help us calm down and we can talk in private" i offered and she smiled slightly "alright" she said before taking her last bite and handing me her tray. "Thanks for breakfast" she said getting up and going to change. I nodded and left the room. I headed downstairs to the kitchen where i ran into Ben. "Hey Jeff, hows Elta?" He asked, i know his game so i stayed quiet and walked over to the sink. I started washing the dishes and heard footsteps on the stairs. I smiled knowing it was Elta. "Jeff, dude answer me will ya!" Ben's voice cut through my thoughts, "Ben leave Jeff alone" i heard Elta's sweet but stern voice say. I turned off the water, set the plates on the drying rack then walked over to her. "You look good" i said to her. She was wearing a pair of jeans, purple long sleeve and a black jacket along with her tennis shoes. "Stop it, i dont look that good" she said a hint of pink on her cheeks. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into a kiss. I watched Ben leave out of the corner of my eye before pulling away and taking her hand. "Yes you do, now lets get going" she smiled and nodded as we headed out of the mansion and into the woods. It was a little chilly but i didn't mind. I lead her to this little open area and sat down, pulling her onto my lap. "So your nightmare?" I asked and she looked down, "i keep seeing my fears...i keep trying to get over them but it no use...especially the one where....you kill me, its either i let you, make you look at me while you do it or turn the gun against you." She started to cry so i rubbed her back and kissed her forehead "baby its alright, it was only a dream and everyone has fears." I said being reasonable and she nodded.

Elta's POV
Jeff and i stayed in the clearing for a little while, me sitting on his lap and him holding me close. I sighed "Jeff" he stoped me "you can call me Jeffery when its just us" he reminded me "jeffery...i was wondering" i wanted to ask him to take me, i wanted him, but I cant force him. 'You could simply suggest it' the voice in my head offered and i smiled. "What are you wondering?" He asked and i kissed him, gently at first but he kissed back roughly. I wrapped my legs around his torso, my arms wrapping around his neck. He licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance and i gladly let him in and explore. I felt his hands grip onto my shirt around my waist. I broke away for air, a string of saliva connecting us. He pinned me to the forest floor and looked me in the eyes. "Baby, do you want this?" He asked nervously i set my hand on his cheek "Yes i do, I want you Jeff" he kissed me and lets say things got hot and steamy even though it was very chilly outside.
