My head lies on his chest as I trace random shapes against his skin. My leg is hooked over his with the blankets covering our bottom half. His fingers brush through my hair and massage my scalp while he occasionally kisses the top of my head. I am calm and sated after this mornings activities. It's been days since we got back and we have been getting alone just fine. "I could never get enough of you," I say, leaning my chin against his chest to see him.
Grabbing my hand, he kisses the back of it. "The feeling is mutual," he says. He's quiet for a long moment. "You never answered me when I asked you where you wanted to go for the honeymoon."
I shrug. "I'll be happy with anything."
"We need to choose a place together," he says.
"Surprise me," I say.
He shakes his head. "You're so damn stubborn."
I smile. "So are you."
He rolls his eyes. "No I'm not."
Shaking my head, I sit up slightly and lean past him to check the time on his phone. Before I get the chance to, I feel his mouth on my chest. His teeth tug at my nipple, causing me to moan. I swing my leg to the other side of him so I'm sitting astride him. Sucking at it, he circles his tongue around it before releasing it. "Round two?" I breathe.
"Always," he responds.
We both look down as I position myself over him. He guides himself to my entrance and I lower myself down onto him. Moments later the door swings open so he quickly sits up, wrapping his arms around me. "Mom, what the fuck?"
I can't face looking at her while I'm straddling her son naked. What the fuck is she doing here? "I'll be waiting in the living room," she snaps angrily, slamming the door shut behind her.
I exhale deeply, finally leaning back to look at him. "I'm sorry, baby," he says. "I don't know why she's here. I thought I locked the doors."
"It's fine. I'll shower."
I climb off of him and head into the bathroom. "Not without me."
"Your mother is in the next room," I point out.
"Then we'll have to be quick. And quiet."
Reaching into the shower, I turn the water on. It's cold so I wait but he pushes me in, making me gasp at the temperature. "It's freezing!"
"It'll warm," he says, stepping in and picking me up.
Smiling, I press a kiss to his lips as he lowers me onto him.

When we leave the room, Dominic and Owen's mother are waiting on the couch. Owen sits in the chair and I sit on the arm of it. "So why are you here?" he asks.
She glares at him. "You told me to be here today to go dress shopping with your fiancé."
I look at Owen who frowns. "I told you to be here tomorrow."
"Well I'm already here so we might as well get it over with."
Owen looks at me, looking slightly irritated. "You can take the Audi."
"I'm driving us in my car," she says.
He shakes his head slightly as he reaches into his pocket. "Whatever. Use this card to pay for it. The price doesn't matter."
"Thanks, babe," I say, leaning down to kiss him while accepting the card.
Standing up, I look at her expectantly. She stands and I glance at Dominic who appears to be deep in thought while staring at me. I look at Owen who doesn't seem to notice. Following his mother out the door, I inwardly groan. She is the last person I'd want to spend time with. Once we're outside we climb into the her black Cadillac CT6. She drives us into town where she parks in front of a relatively large dress shop. "Good morning, ladies. Would you like a drink? We have champagne, juice and water."
"Good morning. We'll take champagne," she says, pausing to look at me. "Unless you have some reason not to drink."
"Of course not," I respond in surprise.
"And have someone else measure while I look at dresses," she says, wandering away.
I take a deep breath. It's just one day that I have to deal with her. I can get through this. "Ma'am, you can stand on the pedestal while I get the drinks. Christina will be over to help you in a moment."
"Thank you," I say, sauntering over to the pedestal.
I stare at my reflection in the mirror, tilting my head to the side as I try to image myself in a wedding dress. I've never actually pictured myself getting married. None of my relationships were serious enough. "Hi, I'm Christina," a woman says, handing me a champagne flute. "I'll measure you and you can tell me what kind of dress you're interested in."
I quickly glance around. "I have no clue. I haven't really thought about it. I've been too busy planning everything else."
She chuckles. "You're not the only woman who has said that. When I'm finished you can take a look around and let me know what you want to try on."
Owen's mom appears in the mirror behind me holding a colored wedding dress. "How about this?"
I frown. "I think I'd prefer a white dress."
She shakes her head. "You can't wear white. Don't you know what white stands for? You two have obviously past that point. Although I'm sure you weren't pure before him," she mutters before walking away.
Grinding my teeth, I glance down at the employee who stares up at me in surprise. Yeah, I know - she's a bitch. Keeping my thoughts to myself, I sip on my champagne.
When she finishes measuring me, she takes me to the nearest rack and says all the dresses with a blue label on the hanger should fit. After searching for at least twenty minutes, I come across a few decent ones followed by a stunning one. Grabbing the hanger, I take it into the fitting room. Oddly, there aren't any mirrors so after she helps me into it, we go back to the pedestal where I am surrounded by mirrors. A tear slips from my eye and I know it's the one.
