The Tournament

The team was getting more worried, but bot because of the food, but because Thunder wasn't back yet.

Quake stood up. " Thunder hasn't come back. And it's almost been 15 minutes. I'm going to go check on him, " he said.

" I'll come with, " Kaizo said.

" We'll all go, " Solar said.

" Mr Zola, we'll be back in a bit. We're going to check on our friend for a while, " Leaf said to the shop owner.

" Of course! Don't be long! " Papa Zola said.

They went out of the shop and turned right to the alley. They immediately heard something... Soft moaning.

They sprinted into the alley. They saw Thunder cornered by two men, one behind and one in front of him. The man behind him was keeping Thunder's arms firmly behind him.

Thunder's face was pained, silently screaming for help. The team didn't hesitate at all.

" HEY! GET AWAY FROM HIM! " the twins shouted. The two men looked at them, Thunder's eyes slowly turned.

" GET AWAY FROM HIM, OR ELSE WE'LL CALL THE POLICE! " Solar said.
Instead of running away, the two men smirked. Whatever they did, it made Thunder's face scream for help more.

Kaizo didn't wait any longer. He ran to them and punched the two of them in the face.

" We WARNED YOU! " he said darkly. Solar was already calling for their security. The security guards came by in no time.

They held the two men down. Thunder fell on his knees after they let him go.

" Thunder! "

Everyone ran to his side. Quake immediately wrapped his arms around him, worried out of his life.

" Thunder! We were so worried! Are you okay? " he said.

Thunder had his face buried in Quake's shoulder, even if he did say anything, they wouldn't be able to hear. Quake sighed.

" Why didn't you shout for help? We would've come for you sooner this time, " he said. Thunder just shrugged.
" This time? " Leaf asked Cyclone in a soft tone. Cyclone looked at him. He leaned in closer to the boy.

" I'll explain later, " he whispered. Leaf nodded. His eyes went back to Thunder and Quake. They had already broken the hug.

" Can you stand? " Quake asked. Thunder shrugged again, he attempted to stand up. But he fell back down, his face winced with pain. He gripped Quake's sleeves tighter.

Quake was startled a little, but he calmed down after a while. He held Thunder's arms.

" Solar, help me get him up and his jeans back up, " he said to Solar. Solar nodded and went to them.

" This is going to hurt a little, please try to endure it, " he said to Thunder. Thunder nodded weakly. He took one of his hands, and nodded to Quake.

The both of them hoisted him up, he tried to endure the pain, but he just couldn't help it. He gasped at the pain, which made Solar flinch.
