Masked Elements performed an amazing performance, like always. When they were done, it was time for the other teams to go up. Leaf and their friends went in to meet the team.
They saw them taking off their ice skates at the benches there. " Hey guys! " Gopal called out.
" You guys were amazing out there! The way you did all those moves were so perfect and so... So amazing! " Leaf said in awe, his eyes twinkling.
The team smiled, Cyclone laughed. " I'm glad you liked it. Let's go to the front and receive our score, " Quake said. The team nodded and put on their team jackets.
They walked to the front and sat on the bench there. " We will now see how much Masked Elements got from the judges! " the announcer said.
It took awhile for the judges to discuss, but the score eventually appeared on the screen.
" WOW! They got a total of 9.5 points! Their performance was almost perfect! Congratulations to Masked Elements!! "
Quake smiled at the score. The twins laughed and high-fived each other. Solar smiled and he leaned back on the wall. Cyclone cheered as he walked around in victory. Thunder crossed his arms, happy with the score.
Leaf was in awe with the score. He had seen it on television but not in real life! The team walked back in backstage.
" That was such a high score!! " he said.
" It's normal for us. We have that kind of score everytime! " the twins said.
" But it's still so good! " Leaf said. Cyclone smiled as he put his arm around Leaf's shoulder.
" Let's go back to our dressing room and watch the other teams to up, " he said. They all agreed and went to their dressing room. They wore their team jackets over their outfits and sat in the room while watching the other teams in television.
They were good, but not as good as Masked Elements. " They're nowhere near your score! " Leaf said in awe.
The twins smiled, but that sincere smile turned into a mischievous one when they turned back to the television.
" Oop, look out, the Tengkotak gang's arrived, " they said. They all looked back at the television and saw the team they were talking about.
Leaf didn't know why they were so interested in that team, but he didn't say anything and watched the team do their performance.
Their moves were indeed good, Leaf had to admit, they were good. Their score was 9.0, very close to Masked Elements' score.
Cyclone scoffed. " We still beat them to it, " he said with a smirk.
" But they're definitely qualified for the next round, " Quake said. The team nodded.
" Do you know that team? " Leaf asked.
" All too well. Both teams are competitors, which also means we're arch enemies. We have been rivals for many years, we still are now, " Blaze said.
" There was one time that they got us so pissed we had to hold Kaizo, Fang, Gopal, the twins AND Tarung back from hurting them, " Ice said.
