Masked Elements

Problems Arise

" Hey, Quake. I took the bullet for you in making breakfast this morning, now you gotta get me back! " Tarung said.

" Alright, alright, Tarung. But your cooking skills are good. The breakfast was almost perfect! " Quake said.

" Yeah. But you didn't see the process of getting it done! I would've burnt the whole penthouse down if I wasn't careful! " Tarung said.

Quake giggled and walked towards the kitchen. " What should we have today? " he asked himself.

He looked around the kitchen. He opened the refrigerator, he saw vegetables, frozen meat and other stuff.

" We shouldn't eat too much tonight, since we have a competition tomorrow night. We'll just have something simple, " he said.

Like he always does, he took his apron out and wore it. After that, he started to take out the ingredients.

" Hey. " he heard someone say at the door. He turned around and saw Thunder.

Thunder walked over to him. He took hold of one of the tomatoes. " So, what are we making? " he said.

" Just a normal salad and maybe some meat. I suggest we shouldn't eat too heavily tonight, " Quake said. He finished washing one of the vegetables and threw it at Thunder.

Thunder caught it no problem and pulled out the knife nearby. He spun it around his hand. " My thoughts exactly, " he said, and started cutting the vegetables.

It was 8 in the evening, and it was after dinner. The team had been doing their own stuff, Leaf didn't really know what to do.

He was in his room, and his door was open. " I have nothing to do.... " he said, sighing. Then he caught sight of his ice-skates at the corner of his eye.

" Maybe... " he said. He stood up, took the ice-skates and headed to the ice rink.

There was no one there, which he'd thought there would be. He put on his ice-skates and entered the rink.

He skated around the rink, swinging himself side to side.

' I want to be able to do techniques like Masked Elements. They do it so gracefully and beautifully. I want to be like them, ' he thought to himself.

He started to do little twirls, after that skating with one leg. He started to actually do the easier techniques he saw Masked Elements attempt.

He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even see Thunder come in. Thunder saw Leaf, dancing on the ice. He watched as Leaf did techniques that he and his team had done.

Leaf was enjoying himself, but that ended when he accidentally stumbled on himself and fell on the ice.

" Ah! " he shouted. Thunder noticed and quickly went to his aid. He skated towards him. He squated next to him.

" You alright? " he asked.

" Uh... Yeah, I think I'm okay.. " Leaf said, rubbing his sore nose.
