A Fight

Thunder was in the rink, as usual. He was lost in his thoughts once again.

What do you wanna be when you grow up, Grandson?

I wanna be like Grandpa! A talented iceskater!

Thunder cringed at the thought. He didn't know why he thought that way when he was little.

Grandpa! Let's go to the city ice rink!

Okay, okay! I can't run so fast! Wait up!

Thunder started to growl. He didn't notice lightning forming around his arms.

He didn't appreciate me... All of it was just to cover up something cruel.. Something crazy...

Grandpa.. Can you teach me your moves?

.....Of course, Grandson.

The lightning became stronger, and his anger became worse. He began to shake, his eyes was being clouded by anger.

I love you, Grandpa!

Thunder took a sharp breath. The lightning sparked all around him.

......I love you too, Grandson......

" ARGHHHHH!!! "

Thunder stood there, breathing heavily after the scream. The lightning calmed, but his emotions still remained.

He never loved me.

Quake P.O.V

I heard a shout coming from the rink. I got worried and excused myself quickly after sending Leaf his partly ruined package.

I jogged to the rink and slowly peeked in when I got there.

I saw Thunder, in the middle of the rink, with lightning sparking softly around him.

I got more worried and entered the rink. " Thunder! " I called to him. He didn't answer, and I didn't expect him to.

I grabbed his arm when I got closer to him. " Thunder! What happened? Are you okay? " I said.

" He never loved me... He never loved me... " I heard him mumbling shakily. That's when I got even more worried.

" Thunder, " I carefully said. And, surprisingly, he looked at me. But his eyes, they were filled with rage and hate, it scared me.

" He never loved me. All of it was just for show, " Thunder spat.

" Thunder, you need to calm down- "

" No! He used me... He went crazy.. He killed someone! HE KILLED SOMEONE! HE DID! "

Thunder began to violently shake. I have never seen him like this in such a long time, I thought I forgotten about it all. I thought he had forgotten about it all.
