Challenge Of Flexibilty

It was already the next day. Some of the team was still asleep though. And at the same time, Leaf had just tried to wake himself up from the comfortable bed.

He let out a cute little yawn. He looked around his room with his droopy eyes. He yawned again before rolling out of bed.

He took his towel and opened his door, his eyes half open, still sleepy.

He walked out of his room, and turned left. He bumped into something as he proceeded in the direction.

" Gah...! " he said quietly and sleepily. He opened his eyes to see what he bumped into.

" Gha... Who's there....... " he heard someone say in front of him. He saw Blaze and Ice there, hair all messed up, and their faces looked lazy.

Blaze rubbed his eyes and saw Leaf.
" Oh... It's you, Leaf, " he said.
" Good morning... " Ice said sleepily.

" Good morning, Blaze, Ice, " Leaf said. " You just woke up? "

" Yeah. But you can use the bathroom here, we can use the other, " Blaze said. Ice smiled as he flung around his towel lazily.

" Alright then. Thank you, " Leaf said. The twins smiled and headed for the other bathroom. Leaf went straight towards the other one down the hall.

As he was going down the hallway, he saw the bedroom doors of the others still closed, but Quake's door was creaked open a little.

Hm? Is he awake as well? Leaf thought to himself. He didn't want to intrude in Quake's privacy, in case he was still in there. So, he shrugged it off and went into the bathroom.

Leaf came out of the bathroom fresh and ready for the day. He put his towel in the laundry and walked to the living room.

He heard the sound of ice being scratched. He assumed someone was in the rink. And he thought that it was Thunder.

He peeked inside the rink, but saw no sign of Thunder. Instead, he was Quake, dancing on the ice.

So he was awake after all, he thought to himself.

Quake saw him at the door and stopped ice-skating to greet him. " Good morning, Leaf! " he said.

" Oh, good morning, Quake! Did I interrupt you? " Leaf said.

" No, you didn't. Are the others awake? " Quake asked.

" Blaze and Ice are. I don't know about the others though, " Leaf said. Quake nodded.

" I think Thunder is awake by now. He always wakes up earlier than the rest of us for morning training and such, " he said. Leaf nodded in understanding.

" What about you? I heard from Cyclone you don't wake up as early as Thunder, " he asked.

" Well, I am gonna be in a race soon. So I thought I'd better warm up a little before that, " Quake said.

" Oh, right. I almost forgot about that, " Leaf said. " What are the challenges like? They're not violent, are they? "

" No, of course not! They're just a series of challenges that mostly involve ice-skating. We compete in races, moves, techniques and other stuff. To be honest, it's enjoyable, " Quake said.
