Shawn's been in the hospital for about a week now and I was discharged a few days after we got brought there. They wanted to keep Shawn for observation longer to make sure he had no additional injuries to his head. His airbag didn't go off during the crash but mine did. Why is that? Although I was discharged I didn't want to leave Shawn while he's here and his family went back to Canada and they told the hospital to let me stay after visiting hours ended. They moved Shawn into a room that had a couch for me to sleep on. I hate seeing him like this. He's got cuts and bruises all over.

"Ev do you have any idea why I needed surgery?"

"No. Baby they didn't tell me much."

Dr.Miller came in and I asked him why.

"Hey Shawn! How you feeling today?

"I'm getting better. Why did I need surgery?"

"Well most of your injuries were minor and we found out that you had internal bleeding so we needed to correct it."

"Ohh"

He got paged and left the room.

"Wait my airbag didn't work but yours did?"

"Yeah. I know it confuses me too hun"

"I wanna go home."

"I know love I know. Before you know it we'll be home. Get some rest now Shawn."

I walked into the hallway to text the girls to let them know how he's doing and then Andrew called.

"Hey Gerty!"

"Hey Ev. How's he doing?"

"He's feeling better. He should be going home in a day or two. They want him to rest for a few weeks and they said no performances or anything."

"Ok that's actually why I was calling. Do you think he'd be up for phone and video call interviews?"

"Most likely. But I'll double check when he wakes up."

"Ok thank you Ev!"

"No Problem!"

I hung up the phone and walked back into Shawn's room and layed down on the couch and rolled over to face Shawn. My poor baby. I can't imagine how scared he was.
