36:And The Winner Is...

"SHAWN MENDES!!" we all jumped outta our seats cheering. I almost fell over no joke. Shawn walked up on stage to get his award and then we heard this
"Oh and Shawn you've won 3 other awards tonight!"
I let out the loudest screech at the wrong time none the less. Shawn looked at me and laughed and so did the girls.
"Now who was that?"
"That'd be Evelyn. My girlfriend."
I mouthed "sorry I got excited"
Shawn gave me a thumbs up and right before he started his thank you speech he said.
"Now I'm gonna need some help holding these. Babe can you come up here please?"
I stood up,walked up the stairs, and was handed two of the awards and stood next to him while he said his speech. Shockingly he didn't forget to thank Ellen for once. I stood there just admiring these two sorta heavy awards in my arms. Shawn finished his speech and we were taken backstage. Shawn was congratulated by others backstage who were presenters,won awards,or were preforming. We returned to our seats moments later to enjoy to rest of the show. I haven't had the chance to congratulate him because of everything going on I feel bad I can't do it right away but I want to tell him everything. Like how proud of him I am. How much I love him. That kind of stuff. Towards the end of the show I started to get tired and leaned on Shawn's shoulder. "Hang in there love. You can sleep soon."
                                 Shawn's POV
The rest of the show flew by quickly and we all got back into the limo Ev and I were the first to get dropped off back at the hotel I could tell she could she was relieved to be able to go to bed. I figured once she got out of her dress she'd want to fall asleep right away.
"Hey babe I put a shirt and shorts on the bed for you to sleep in."
"Thank you. I'm so freaking tired. I should've had coffee."
"But you don't drink coffee."
"I know"
She changed out of her dress and into my clothes I put on the bed for her while I got ready for bed. We both lay down on the bed and cuddled.
"Congrats on tonight. I didn't get a chance to tell you because well you know."
While E was talking she dozed off to sleep. I moved a piece of hair from her forehead and kissed it. I stayed awake for a few hours cause I just couldn't stop thinking about Evelyn and how happy she's made me and how much I love her. She's so cute when she's asleep. I dozed off and fell asleep at about 1 am.
