31:My Brother

                                Shawn's POV
As soon as Hunter agreed to come over now Ev ran into the bathroom to shower.
"SHAWN! SHOULD WE CLEAN THE HOUSE?"
"No. Babe the house isn't even messy."
"ARE YOU SURE?!"
"yes!"
I went into our room for change and once I was done I noticed Evelyn's still in the bathroom. I knocked on the door wondering what's taking forever.
"Babe? Are you done showering yet?"
"Yeah I'm brushing my teeth."
"Can I come in? I need to do my teeth too."
"Yeah"
I open to door and was hit by the loud music coming from her phone. No wonder she had to yell. We brushed our teeth while listening to music and dancing along. Evelyn ran into our room to change and I noticed she left her phone in the bathroom.
*Evelyn's phone buzzes*
"EV! YOUR BROTHER TEXTED YOU! HE'S ALMOST HERE!"
"Don't rush me! Text him back!"
"What do I say? "Yay! This is your sisters bf can't wait to meet you!" ?"
"Just say "YAY!" don't scare the boy."
"Ok fine"
I did as she asked. I texted him back and said "YAY!"
10 minutes later the doorbell rang.
"Ev!"
"IM ALMOST DONE! LET HIM IN!"
I opened to door to see a boy with the same hair and eye color as her.
"Hi. I'm Hunter"
"Hey. Nice to meet you I'm Shawn. Come in Ev's upstairs still. BABE!"
"I'm coming I'm coming Mendes!"
                              Evelyn's POV
I walked downstairs to see the boys getting along well. That's a huge relief.
"HUNTER!!"
I ran up to him and gave him a huge hug.
I can't believe this is happening! I met my little brother I never knew about. We spent a few hours getting to know each other when his phone rang. His face went from happy to terrified. He gulped and answered his phone and I heard a lady yelling.
"Yes Kathrine I have everything. Yes I know. Yes I know."
The lady hung up and he looked nervous.
"Everything ok?"
"No. I had a falling out with my adoptive parents and got kicked out."
"Oh no. I'm so sorry."
"It's alright really. Can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead"
"Do you think our mom will take me in?"
"Actually she asked me to ask you that."
"She did?"
"Yeah! She'd love to have you come home!"
"When are you going back?"
"I'm not sure. SHAWN WHEN ARE WE GOING BACK TO FLORIDA??"
"A FEW DAYS! HUNTER YOU COME WITH US!"
His smile returned to his face once he was told he could come to Florida with us.
"I don't have many Florida whether clothes."
Shawn walked into the family room and offered to take him to get more clothes and said he could stay with us till we leave. I'm thrilled they are getting along perfectly. We decided to surprise our mom and I knew the perfect person to ask for help.
                              Shawn's POV
"Mendes! Can you help us plan a surprise?"
"I knew my surprise skills would be needed one day!"
We spent the next hour planning and coming up with hiding spots. 10 ideas later we had a winner.
