Nicholas's point of view:
Mia was mentally absent through the class, she didn't move a muscle, and if not for my enhanced hearing I'd think her heart had stopped beating.
Her classmates however, were painfully, a totally different case.
The girls looked at me like I was a credit card with no spending limit, grinning stupidly, batting their lashes, running their hand through their hair and giggling in what I suppose is their idea of a seductive manner.
I was teaching them the history of Julius ceaser, and they even giggled when I described his death.
Only Miley had been looking at me with confusion. I'm sure she never pictured me as a teacher.Frankly, I don't see anything funny about his death.
I freaking knew that guy!
The guys however were simmering with jealousy, I guess they didn't like the idea of their girlfriends or crushes acting like bubble heads for a guy.
Some blonde haired guy was giving me a killer glare...
He looked like he'd make a great mid-day snack.
I rounded off the lecture and asked for questions.
Of course there was no reasonable one.
I doubt anyone was paying attention to what I was actually teaching.
But still half of the class had their hands raised up. I pointed at a brunette.
Some of the girls glared at her.
With a smile of victory, she started.
"My name is Julie," I sure as heck wasn't interested in her name, but I gave a slight nod.
"How long do you intend to stay in this school?"I forced a smile and replied. " As long as it takes your teacher to recover."
A blonde haired girl whispered not so softly,
"he'd better be sick forever"
almost all the girls in the class burst into giggles.I broadened my smile, and cringed inwardly. "being a teacher is going to be freaking unbearable."

Jeremy's point of view
After leaving Mia's home, I strolled back leisurely to my home.
Through the forest.
I wasn't the type to waste time, but for some reason I couldn't will myself to move faster.
I felt drained, I felt weak.
No.
With a growl I shifted to my wolf form and ran like I was being chased, oblivious to the two members of my pack with me trying to catch up.
I couldn't let myself be weak.
But her eyes...
I could feel the air wheezing as I ran with unparalleled speed.
Approaching my home, I slowed down to a trot. I didn't feel fatigue, I glanced back. My companions were still far behind me.
I knew the pack could feel my presence, but I wasn't in the mood to address anyone yet. I made my way to my house, not acknowledging the bow of anyone who greeted me on my way.
I slowly entered my house from the back, but I knew she had already sensed me."I'm guessing I have to record another failure again." A cold voice greeted.
Taking a long coat from the hanger, I shifted back to my human form.
"I'm fine thank you, thanks for caring about your son." I replied sarcastically to my mum, slowly making my way to the living room.
She was seated at the window side, wearing a black long gown, apparently she wasn't done mourning my father.
No one was.
She turned to face me, the warm face I knew during my childhood now morphed into a stone cold one. I gulped.
" I don't feel her presence." She said calmly.
But I felt every drop of venom in her voice.
" I couldn't bring her." I stated simply.
She rose an eyebrow.
"Nicholas had her surrounded." I said.
Liar.
You couldn't bring her because the moment you made the mistake of an eye contact with her.
You weakened.
You couldn't do anything to her if you wanted to.I ignored the voice in my head.
A mental picture of her face as she begged me not to kill her played in my mind.
I was confused at the moment, but I realized she didn't know her destiny.
Which was weird.
Then punk faced Nicholas showed up."Did Nicholas take her?" My mother asked in an eerily calm voice, so soft, you'd think she was a harmless little bunny.
she EATS harmless little bunnies.
"No, but he has her being watched. Taking her now would mean leading them to our lair." I replied defensively.
"But it would not matter much would it? We'd have victory on our side." She calmly continued.
Um, time to drop the bomb.
"She doesn't know who she is." I said a little softly.
My mother slowly looked back at the window. " And how do you know that?"
How did I know that? Maybe because the goddess of war shouldn't be scared of me!
"She begged me not to kill her... Not that I had the intention of doing so... But she was, uh...scared."
She didn't reply.
"I have three men watching her though, top fighters from our army. They're well trained and could fight off a hundred vampires." I ranted.
Unless Nicholas is one of the vampires.
I mentally rolled my eyes, I hated the voice in my head.
She still said nothing.
So I took the cue and quietly went back to my room.
Slipping off my coat, I entered my bathroom and turned on the shower, the water bringing me memories of her, the supposed goddess of war.
