Mia's point of view
I snapped back to reality with the feel of someone patting my shoulder.
"Are you okay?" Asked a familiar voice. I looked up, it was Derek. He had concern written all over his face.
"I-I-i'm fine." I stammered.
Nicholas had left the class, and another teacher had come in. How did I not notice?
"You look like you've seen a ghost." Derek said with concern.
Oh Derek, a ghost might have been better, I saw a blasted vampire!
I gave a tight smile and replied. " I'm just a little tired."
Liar.
You're like totally terrified.
Derek was about to say something when the teacher called.
"Derek and Mia is there anything you'd like to share with us...? You do know that this course isn't relationship 101."
The whole class burst into laughter except Derek's girlfriend, she was glaring at me.
"No sir." I quickly replied before Derek could and firmly shook my head at him.
Gratefully, he took the hint and said nothing.
The rest of the class was a swirl of nothingness as I found myself repeatedly replaying the events of last night in my head.
The Bell for lunch jolted me out of my trance and I practically ran out of the class. I rushed to the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror.
You do look like you've seen a ghost.
"I think I can see that!" I whispered furiously at the voice in my head.
I looked deathly pale.
I rinsed my face and dried it with a face towel. I could feel colour slowly returning to my face.
Now to find Miley... I needed some darn answers.

Miley's point of view.
Nicholas was a hottie no doubt.
I kept on scrutinizing him. When I met him at first he didn't look the teacher type. And he still looks too wealthy to be a teacher.
What kind of high school teacher can afford hand made Italian shoes?
But he seemed so experienced in teaching.
Girls were cooing all over him.
It made me irritated.I'd have done the same but he's Mia's property for crying out loud.
I glanced at mia. Her eyes were glued to him. I've never seen her stare at any guy like that.
Someone's love smitten.
I returned to what I do during every class.
Mentally preparing my next party.
A couple classes later,
the bell for lunch rang, waking me from my preparations.I scoffed and slung bag over my shoulder.
By the time I looked up mia was running out of the class.
I saw Derek's eyes follow her as she went out. He looked concerned and started to follow her.
Mia had better be careful about her new lover, she's got a detective watching her.
I couldn't let him follow her to Nicholas's office so I stood in front of him.
"Hi Derek!" I said with a bright smile.
Coach told me earlier this morning that he needs to see you.
He looked confused for a moment."Um... Coach is absent." He said with a frown.
Damn! Of course, some crazy jock accidentally hit him on the head with a basketball.
" I don't mean the sports coach," I said increasing my smile. " I mean the life coach. Counselor."
"You've met the counselor?" He asked incredulously.
Honestly, no. I'm not a big fan of people who think they can make the right decision for my life. And everyone knows that. Heck I don't even know what sex our counselor is!
"I sorta bumped into the counselor in the hall this morning, it sounded really important." I added.
With a frown he nodded and headed out.
Mia must be far away by now.
I found mia in the hall way, or rather she found me.
She looked a little strange,
I guess people react to make out sessions differently, I thought with a smirk."Miley, we need to talk." She said with urgency.
Now that she was up close I could see she looked shaken.Uh oh. If Nicholas had hurt my friend in anyway, I'd-i'd-i'd.
You'd what? Throw your mascara brush at him? I don't think your ivy league would help you deal with Nicholas, they're all smitten by him.
The stupid voice in my head was kinda right.
"What's wrong Mimi?" I asked pulling her closer.
God she really did look shaken.
She quickly glanced around, as if checking for eavesdroppers."Where in damnation did you meet Nicholas?" She asked her voice barely above a whisper.
For mia to swear, shit's hit the fan.
"I met him at the mall."I said whispering too.
"What? At the mall? That's ridiculous! I thought you knew him from somewhere!" She said exasperated.
"When we went shopping for my birthday outfits I saw him staring at you. And then when you went to get some ice cream he walked over to me. And asked me to introduce him. It ended up with me giving him an invitation card and setting up a blind date. I don't really remember how the conversation led to my birthday. What happened? What did he do?" I was whispering furiously by now.
Mia looked like she was going to faint.
"So... You didn't do any background check on him or anything?" She asked in disbelief.
"No," I answered, starting to feel really stupid. " He looked pretty harmless. The only dangerous thing about him was his attractiveness." I continued with a frown.
"What did he do?" I asked again
"Nothing..." She replied, her voice trailing off. "Nothing yet."
But her face told me a different story.
