Nicholas's POV.
I walked into my sorry excuse for an office, feeling like I could die even before the war starts. Being in this school was like a death sentence, with crazy students and even crazier teachers.A certain 'miss Imelda' who was supposedly an English teacher was making goo-goo eyes at me throughout the staff meeting. I uncuffed my shirt sleeve and pushed the arms up, settling into my chair.
'No one said it was gonna be easy.....' I mused
But it's definitely necessary.
Jeremy would be making his move anytime now, and if he was still the Jeremy I knew whilst growing up, it'll be a very smart one.
I heard human footsteps approaching, the scent matched the scent of the office.I saw her legs first.
I was to share the office with the biology teacher, and I had long concluded that she was an unkept person by glancing at her table. It was an utter mess. But she...
She is stunning.
In a subtle way, of course. She Is a redhead, petite, I mean seriously, so petite you'd mistake her for a student.
And she had thick rimmed glasses on, the rims were red. A contrast to her pale skin.
And as if to defy the innocence in her appearance, she had a silver nose ring.
Her books dropped to the ground immediately she saw me.
And like a squirrel, she scurried to pick it"I'm sorry, so sorry, I mean good morning, I'm so clumsy, and then the mess.... I rushed out last Friday, I'm miss savannah. Sapphire Gail Savannah. But just call me sapphire." She rushed.
I almost laughed.
Almost.
I haven't genuinely laughed in a long time.
So I just smiled instead."Sapphire, I prefer Gail if you don't mind." I said in my cool voice
She blushed crimson and bobbed her head quickly.
"Gail is perfect, I don't mean my name is perfect, I mean it's perfect for you to call me Gail, not that the name is not perfect anyways...." she stuttered.
One thing for sure, she talked pretty fast.
"I'm Nicholas. And you can call me Nicholas." I was smiling still, and having a whole lot of fun watching her blush.
I was surprised a petty human could make me grin this much.
"Okay, Nicholas it is." She mouthed.
Then I realized full rosy lips, like my Sister's.
That changed my mood completely.
Changing back to my steely gaze, as though I wasn't just smiling two minutes ago, I cleared my throat and pulled my gaze towards the history book I wasn't reading anyways.
Like she had been caught in an uncanny act, she lowered her gaze and rushed to tidy up her table.
She was wearing a typical formal female teacher's dress, in black, my favorite color.

Mia's POV.
The rest of the day was a blur, I walked in and out of classes like a zombie.
I suppose teachers paid little or no attention to me because I didn't get called for zoning out.
My classmates however, were a completely different ball game. By lunch break, word had gotten across that I was looking pale and zoning out in class, plus I had bumped into Elizabeth, one of the CPPs.
