IT WAS A BRIGHT SUNDAY MORNING — the sun shining over the white, sparkling snow as it flowed in the icey-blue sky. To Samantha Darling, it was the perfect time to fulfill her plan — bringing her life back to the way she wanted. In order to do that, Samantha and Clara had come up with a list.

A list that would hopefully — fingers crossed — make everything better. The only way to make this work was to follow the list exactly.

───────────────

STEP ONE:
CONFRONT BILLY ANDREWS

STEP TWO:
TELL FRIENDS TRUTH

STEP THREE:
APOLOGIZE TO GILBERT BLYHTE

───────────────

After re-reading the list at least fifteen times, Samantha Darling took a deep breath and exited the Barry's house, making her way towards the Andrews' — her mind set on completing the first step.

Even though Samantha was set on completing these tasks, she could help but feel remorse for Billy Andrews. Not that he needed any, but Samantha didn't think it to be fair that she had used him like this.

Despite his lack of humanly kindness, Billy Andrews was not really the true enemy. Therefore, Samantha couldn't help but feel as if she had done him dirty.

Lifting her enclosed fist, Samantha knocked three times on the large wooden door. She then hung her head, studying her shoes as she ran over what she was going to say to the boy.

"Remember, you can't get nervous," Samantha spoke to herself. "You have to tell him the truth."

After a moment of time, a small creek signaled the opening of the door, causing Samantha to lift her gaze. Standing before her was a certain blonde-haired boy with a faint dimple in the left corner of his cheek.

There was one thing Samantha Darling liked about Billy — one thing that [deep down inside] made her feel okay at his presence. That being, his hazel eyes.

Never once had anyone noticed his eyes. They were young — innocent. Billy Andrews was the kind of boy who played at an image — a bad one, at that. Samantha could tell from all the horrible comments he made that it wasn't his true personality.

Though the smirking and rude remarks bothered Samantha and the others greatly, Billy still had one thing that he couldn't hide his true self with — his eyes. Just taking one glance into them, Samantha knew how he truly felt.
