Cutting the Strings

The Calamity surged forward, colliding with 856507 and send them both flying back. Calamity charged gravity around his fist and began gravitationally punching the woman's scarred face. Suddenly, the woman stopped their momentum, knocking Chad back a little with a burning read pulse. The Teleporter charged, being in his own element, his strength and speed at high levels, flying like a lightning bolt towards 856507. The woman raised her hand in front of her, stopping the Teleporter's momentum, then flinging him back into Chad, who barely managed to dodge.

856507 charged up the red energy, and blasted the red pulse beam straight at Chad, blowing him back. "You have no idea what I'm capable of," 856507 said. My mutation has allowed me to harness the strings of the universe. I play life's chords, the universe's notes, AND HERE IS THE SOURCE OF MY POWER. HERE, I AM QUEEN!!!"

The woman channeled her energy, releasing a shockwave of energy, destroying the countless random pieces of junk floating in the fourth dimension. The Teleporter created a rift shield, protecting from the debris, but was struggling with the force of the shockwave and was threatening to tear and fail. Calamity reinforced the shield with a gravity field of his own, but it took both of their collective powers to deflect the shockwave.

The Teleporter recovered, flashing to the opposite side of Calamity, making this a battle on two fronts. Dividing her attention, 856507 launched out ruby energy strings, ensnaring both heroes, instantly creating struggle. Calamity and the Teleporter both tried using their powers to break the strings, but that was impossible. 856507 utilized their confusion, swinging them on their tethers, causing them to crash into various junk floating around.

Realizing the strings could not be broken,, the Calamity used gravity to loosen the strings a little and slip away. Attention was immediately drawn to him, and the tether transformed into a sharp spike, slicing through the air and towards Chad. He instantly created a force field, changing its trajectory. 856507 tried again, this time the momentum flying through the force field. However, The Teleporter managed to use his swing in front of the spike, causing them to bounce off each other and vibrate, freeing him in the process. The Teleporter charged up some rift energy, blasting rapid-fire antimatter shots towards 856507. Her shield cracked under the pressure, eventually shattering. However, she took hold of the explosive singularities, compressing them into a pulse towards both heroes. The Teleporter and the Calamity rushed to dodge.

Calamity summoned the junk around him, using gravity to mold it into a spike, sending it crashing towards 856507. The junk crashed upon her, but soon the mess exploded in red energy as the spike was dispelled. The floating junks parts then were aimed back at the Calamity, entrapping in piles of junk. The Teleporter shot a pulse of void energy, but it was stopped and rebounded, forming a void prison around the Teleporter.

"Your powers are so insignificant. You may only play one string of the universe, while I PLAY THEM ALL. A PUPPET CANNOT CONTROL THE STRINGS THAT HOLD THEM."

"Well, I guess we'll have to cut those strings," Chad said. There was a slight rumbling in the junk.

"HA!!! You think you are stronger than me? The strings of the universe cannot break by your pluck."

Suddenly, the rumbling turned into a vibration as the strings holding the junk began to become unstable, violently shaking due to the gravity opposition. Suddenly, the strings snapped, sending junk flying in all directions, freeing the Calamity. Looking at the Teleporter, something similar was happening, as the void began to vibrate before dispelling.

"Wha-?"

"What alright." Chad and Ethan said.

Recovering the shock, 856507 regained her wits, summoning thousands of red strings, sending millions of projectiles towards the two heroes. Instead of resisting the strings, they played their instruments, causing the strings to vibrate, catching onto floating pieces of junk. The strings started to vibrate in all different directions, pulling the poor woman around. Suddenly, The Teleporter and the Calamity released tension, sending the junk flying towards 856507, making a direct hit. The junk was dispelled once again by a fury of red strings, before being launched again towards the two. This time, the strings took hold on the two, but instead of resisting the vibrations, the two heroes sent vibrations back, overloading 856507 with power. The woman screamed as her eyes glowed brightly with red energy before exploding in a supernova of ruby. A loud reverberation sounded, the last note of the symphony of 856507.
