Hi everyone!
Originally this author's note was to say I was writing a sequel but things have changed and I'm afraid this isn't going to happen. There are a few reasons:
- I wrote this book five years ago and I think if I were to write a sequel I couldn't do it justice
- I'm trying to focus on writing other genres (mainly historical fiction and romance)
- I'm trying to become a teacher and my spare time is limited
Apologies to those who were waiting for a sequel. I had the briefest ideas of what it would entail, mainly:
- Cosima becomes an Avenger, which causes a bit of an outrage with the public
- She does some digging into her past, finds out who she is and runs away because she thinks she couldn't be an Avenger after finding out what she has done as a brainwashed Hydra agent
- The Avengers try and find Cosima
- Hydra shows up when Cosima is at her most vulnerable and kidnaps her
- Zola is actually still on a computer and needs her for a big plan (probably taking over America, I mean most villains want that so...)
- Cosima tries to stop Zola but he mind controls her and she unwillingly takes part in his plans
- In the final stage of Zola's plan she is up against the Avengers
- They help her to overcome the brainwashing and she fights with the Avengers against Hydra and the Avengers win capturing the Hydra agents and saving the day
- Cosima is photographed saving a school bus full of children which circulates around the world meaning everyone sees it and accepts Cosima as an Avenger because they know she has changed
- Cosima accepts what her life was and moves on to better things
