6. in my head

PREVIOUSLY

i looked out my window into joe's room to see if he was awake, but he was sitting on the balcony looking up at the sky i watched him while i ordered pizza. it showed up 10 minuets later so i brought it to my room and changed into a simple crop top and grey sweatpants. i grabbed the pizza and went outside.
Skye:"You hungry?"
Joe:"No"
Skye:"Ok coming over" i jumped and put the pizza between us and we ate and talked.

SKYE'S P.O.V
I woke up to the bright sun shining on my face and an oddly warm pillow. i looked to see what i was laying on, and lucky me, it was joe's chest. he put his face underneath my neck and wrapped his arms that were around my waist tighter. oh, and did i mention we were still on the balcony, which means we fell asleep outside. i sat up, but joe pulled me right back down on top of his chest. i woke him up and told him to get up and go inside and sleep so he did, but threw me over his shoulder and took me with him. jason walked in and told me to get ready, then someone texted me right as he walked out of the room.
unknown: Get ready to go to the mall then the beach:)- Bridie
uggggh!!! i got out of bed and walked over to the sliding door to go back to my room. i went in my closet to find an outfit, then i picked out this:

i went over to my dresser to grab my bathing suit and throw it in my bag with my other stuff. i called her and she told me to meet her at the front of the mall.
i got to the mall at found her waiting outside. shopping was the ONLY girly thing i actually enjoy doing. me and Bridie were talking and she was telling me why we are going to the beach. apparently Chase is having a party that is why we are going, which I'm fine with cuz me and chase have definitely gotten closer but i wish i would've known ahead of time so i could tell my mom I'm not gonna be home untill later. is it bad that i don't have her number? well i do but its blocked so she cant call or text me complaining about being late or stealing her money. we were walking around and i spotted chase and his little group. when he is with them he goes into fuckboy mode and its honestly annoying. i pulled bridie's arm
Skye:"I'm hungry can we go get food" i said a little annoyed cuz the boys were getting closer to us.
Bridie:"Yeah lets go. did you know that you are honestly really dramatic tho"
Skye:"Yea i get that a lot now lets goooooooo" we started walking the opposite way towards the food court. while i was pulling her arm and walking as fast as i could, chase ran up and pulled me back against his chest with his hands.
Skye:"Oh heyyyyyy chase" i said all high pitched trying to act like i didn't know he was right behind us.
Chase: "So you guys are still going to the party right?"
Bridie:"Yea ofc we were just leaving to get ready. Bye" i gave her a weird look untill she pulled me all the way out to the parking lot towards the curb and pulled me down to sit. she ordered an uber to her house cuz we planned on getting ready over there.
Skye:"So what did chase mean by 'still going to my party'?" i asked putting up air quotations with my fingers.
Bridie:"Its his party, anddddddd he invited us to go..."
Skye:"Sooooo?" i asked raising a brow
Bridie:"Welllll...." she said getting a high pitched tone while dragging out the l
Bridie:"Iaskedifyouwantedtogosoiwouldnthavetogobymyselfcuzidkiftheboysarecoming" she said really fast without any breaths. it took awhile for me to comprehend what she just said but i eventually figured it out.
Skye:"Why didnt you just tell me that it was his party we were going to i wouldnt of cared" she just nodded then the uber pulled up to where we were sitting so we got in and drove off to bridies house.

i was putting my hair in french braids while bridie was looking for a bathing suit to wear. i pulled out my makeup and applied some concealer, mascara, highlight, and lip gloss.

i walked out of the bathroom and back to bridies room to tell her im finished getting ready.

(skip to the party)

we were walking towards the water to get away from the huge crowd of people. the music was loud and everyone around us was drinking and dancing. we eventually got there and watched the people in the water mess around while me and her talked. i felt someone touch me and when i turend around to see who it was they grabbed me and ran into the water then dropped me. i got above the water and see chase standing infront of me with a smirk on his face.
Chase:"That's what you get for not telling me you were here"
Skye:"I didn't have to be here. I only came cuz it gives me an excuse to get out of the house and so i can see Joe"
Chase:"I don't know if i should be offended or-"
Skye:"Why would you feel offended? Cuz i didn't mention your name?"
Chase:"How about i go get you a drink and we will talk more when i get back"
Skye:"Yea sure whatever" he walked off and Bridie swam towards me.
Bridie:"What was that about?"
Skye:"What him throwing me in or me and him talking?" i asked
Bridie:"Why he threw you in smartass"
Skye:"Cuz i didn't tell him we were here"
Bridie:"Ohhh-" then Chase walked over and gave me my drink and we all sat down and talked. about 20 minuets later me and chase were both drunk and jason showed up so bridie was with him. me and chase were currently dancing and laughing while talking about stupid things we have done in life when, out of nowhere, he looked me in the eyes and started leaning in and so did i, but nothing happened i ended up on the ground and looked up to see...
