PREVIOUSLY
i was almost asleep until my mom called and said that she was gonna be home in about a week with my sister. she said that she was gonna talk to me about it, cuz last time i checked i didn't have one and she didn't want to explain everything out over the phone.
5 DAYS LATER
My mom is going to be home tomorrow with my "sister". She said that she was excited for us to meet. the docters told me yesterday that if chase doesnt wake up by tonight they will have no choice but to let him go. they cant help him anymore. i grabbed all of my stuff so i can go home and shower. as i was walking on the other side of the bed i heard a weird, inhuman sound come out of chase's mouth. i grabbed my charger then walked back over to the opposite side where i usually sleep. i grab his hand and kissed the top of it, and while i wwas doing so i felt him squeeze mine. i jumped up a bit because i was not expecting that to happen.
Skye:"Chase. Can you hear me? Are you awake?" what if he isnt awake? he could of moved or something. i was just looking down and thinking, thinking real hard about what just happened and the sound he made.
Chase:"Y-y-yes" i swear i just broke my neck cuz of how hard i looked up. his eyes were squinted, slowly adapting to the light, towards me. his eyes finally got used to it and now he was just starring at me while i was looking at him still shocked about him waking up.
Chase:"Sk-"
Skye:"So you really are awake?!?!" i said as i put my hands all over his face. he laughed and then looked at me.
Chase:"Um-Uh-Wi-Will you go get the nurse?" i shook my head yes and walked out the door. i ran to the front desk and told them and then they told a nurse.
the nurse talked to us about what meds chase needs to take and that its not necessary to be watched, but its recomended. i had to sign him out and then we left. chase was tired, so when the uber dropped us off he went and layed down in my bed. i went over to the twins house so i can talk to them both about what happened and so i can talk to joe about what happened with us. i knocked on the door and joe answered it. he cuts and bruises all over his face and body, i think that might be why he called.
Skye:"Can i come in?" he looked at me then at his feet then back up at me and opened the door wider. jason came downstairs and gave me a side hug and brought us to the couch.
Skye:"So, i know this wouldnt be the best way to start our conversation right now but you guys need to know. Chase he--
JOE'S P.O.V
i was just sitting at the table staring at my cereal as if it was just talking to me until i heard the doorbell ring. i got up walking backwards while looking at the cold soggy bowl of milk and tiny marshmellows and trying not to fall at the same time. i turned around and opened the door to see skye. she asked if she could come in so i just opened the door enough for her to be able to walk in. she sat us down so she could talk to us and i wasnt ready for it at all.
Skye:"So, i know this wouldnt be the best way to start our conversation right now but you guys need to know. Chase he- He tried to commit suicide. But i found him, and we got him taken care of. it took him a week, almost a week and a half just to wake up. i was there every single day for him. i made sure that he was gonna make it and if i wasnt, he would have died." she said as she ws crying but trying not to let more tears fall. jason looked at me and i could tell he was crying too. i could tell she still hated me expecially for him doing that, it was my fault after all.
Skye:"And honestly after all the shit that you pulled at the party joe, we arent gonna be as close as we were. You pushed me along with everyone else away because of your problems. You two fought, thats your deal, but none of us did just you guys. And you still pulled a bitch move because of you being mad at something you caused and started. We were close, i actually liked you..like a lot, but you became distant and pushed all of us out, but guess who called ME asking for help the other day? You did! If i left for a few months and havent talked to you guys at all, them boom im back and asked to stay with you guys, you would do the same thing that im doing right now wouldnt you?" i looked at her and shook my head, because in all reality i would do what she is doing right now. you cant just leave behind the people that care the most for you.
Skye:"Joe. You wanted to be so distant so thats how its gonna be." then she got up and hugged jason and surprisingly me. then she just, left.
SKYE'S P.O.V
I went home and upstairs to my room to check on chase. he was still sleeping so i got into the shower and brushed my teeth. i went downstairs to lock the front and back doors then back upstairs. i kissed chases cheek and turned off the light then layed down. i faced away from chase, then he turned around and wrapped his arm around my waist.
Chase:"I love you."
