i faced away from chase, then he turned around and wrapped his arm around my waist.
Chase:"I love you."
SKYE'S P.O.V
i rolled over on the other side of the bed and watched the wall debating wether or not i should take back what i told joe and try to get him and chase to be friends again. i kinda miss how it used to be, no feelings towards eachother, plus the hanging out and stuff too but thats not what im really worring about. break is over and we go back to school tomorrow and my mom is also coming back. its gonna be weird going back to school without my group of best friends. walking down the halls by myself, sitting in class by myself unless bridies there, walking to and from school. maynnn this actually sucks. it was only about 10 pm so i could still get enough sleep before having to wake up early again. i just layed there and watched my wall until i could start to fall asleep, which i eventually did a few minuets after.
-- i woke up to my phone dinging and flashing a bright light. i pulled it off of the charger and turned down my brightness so it didnt hurt my eyes. i unlocked my phone and seen i had a message from someone
chase- hey sorry to wake you up, but i just wanted to let you know i went back home so i dont need to stop at my house before school :))
skye- okk ill see u tm!! sleep good d00d. --
it was 12:07. honestly i should just skip some of my classes tomorrow so i can have some chill time to myself. i faced the side that chase was laying on before he went home and closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep
i woke up to my mom jumping on my bed waking me up.
Y/M:"SKYE GET UPPPPP OR ELSE IM GONNA MAKE YOU GO TO SCHOOL!!!" i sat up as fast as i could acting like i wasnt tired, but i really was like...a lot. she walked over to me and pushed my head down on my pillow and threw some of my blanket on me
Y/M:"I'm just joking. but you are staying home from school today, so you can go back to sleep." then she gave me an innocent smile. ofc she would do that to me! she woke me up just to tell me to go back to sleep, like whY w0uLd y0u d0 tHis t0 mEe?1? i let out a loud sigh while rolling back over to sleep.
i decided to finally get up and get ready for breakfast, which consisted of my slippers and throwing my hair up into a messy bun. i walked down my stairs and got out stuff for hot coco and my ego waffles. i put 2 of my waffles in the toaster and my mug of coco in the microwave. i looked over to the window across the room that showed the boys house. i seen tayler and some other kid talking to joe on his front porch. i went over to the long mirror and looked at my hair to see if i was somewhat presentable to go outside before i make a fool out out of myself. which i dont know how i possibly could? im just wearing a eeyore onesie with my hair up and bee slippers. (if those are even a thing??) i walked outside with my hot coco and walked over to the boys. right when i got there the guy i have problably never seen before turns the other way facing away from me, oh well.
Skye:"Hey losers" joe looks at me suprised, maybe cuz i just walked to his house and tried to start a convo with him, or cuz of my clothes. tayler just sat there and smiled really big and i could tell right away he was trying not to laugh.
Skye:"Tayler wtf are you laughing at? ugly headass" they all laughed, even the kid facing away from me.
Tayler:"Hahaha so funny Skye. What are you doing here anyway?" i looked at him with my arms crossed then remembered my waffles. i started runing for like 5 seconds then turned around and handed joe my drink.
Skye:"Hold this i'll be right back!!" i said worried. my waffles are gonna be cold now. i ran inside and grabbed then ran back out to them.
Joe:"You really ran all the way back to get waffles?" he said laughing a bit. i looked my waffles then back up at him with a hurt expression.
Skye:"Well duhhhh. Plus waffles bring back good memories maynnn." the mystery guy was the only one who laughed this time, but it was barely even audible. he turned around and pulled his hood down. he had blonde hair and green eyes. he had the same face structure as joey and the same freckles, but it wasnt him. i just turned to him and smiled.
Kid:"Now that's cute." he said refering to my whole little scene that i currently made. i just smiled again then took a bite of my waffle. they all just kinda had their own conversation while i stood there thinking about things. i went over to the kid and tapped on his shoulder
Skye:"Heyyy ummm... We should be friends ya dig?"
Kid:"I'm down" then we shook hands. wow. he definitely reminds me of joey.
