the first thing i knew i needed to do the next day was talk to daisy. so the next morning, i dashed to her locker. of course she was there, organizing her things.

"daisy i need to talk to you. its like super important." was the first thing i said to her, not even bothering to say hello.

"oh, okay. shoot." she said, putting the book she hand away and closing her locker.

"can we go sit somewhere? i think it'll be easier for me." i swallowed. she looked worried but nodded. in silence, we walked outside to a bench and sat down.

i took a deep breath, looking up at her. "i know i probably shouldve told you this before everything happened and im sorry about that. but i didnt want to fuck up everything." even before i could tell her what i was gonna say what i needed to, tears came up.

"dude you're scaring me." daisy grabbed my shoulders, making me turn to fully face her.

"i have feelings for luke and thats why ive been acting so weird or the thing happened at the beach because i just got jealous. im sorry daisy, i know youre dating him and id never ever do anything with him if youre with him." i sobbed.

daisy looked at me and smiled a little. "you like him, leia?" she said and wiped my cheeks.

"yeah" i nodded, sniffling.

"youre so sweet. you didnt say anything because i was with him. luke and i aren't that serious tho, i think you should be with him more than me." i looked at her, shocked at her words.

"wait what?" my eyes were wide now, processing what she was saying still.

"date him. i dont mind. i can tell you really like him and i dont want you to go self destruct mode on yourself because im with him." daisy shrugged and smiled.

"oh my god. really daisy?" i smiled a little too.

"yeah. ill even text him." she then pulled out her phone and clicked on lukes contact.

'i usually never break up with guys through text but i am going to right now :-( i had a lot of fun and made memories with you but i dont think its meant to work out. sorry. hopefully we can still be friends tho :-)'

daisy hit send and i hugged her tight and cried more. "thank you daisy i love you so much."

"no problem leia. anything for you." she giggled, wrapping her arms around me.

i saw michael walk up to us. "aw fuck what did i miss?"

as i sat during my last class, my phone went off. sneakily, i pulled it out and looked to see what it was.

luke: would you like to hang out? :-)

i bit down on my lip to hold back my smile.

'you'd have to come over to my house. my mom works today'

luke: ill be there @ 4

'okay'

quietly, i did a little happy dance in my desk and was even more excited then i already was to go home. once the bell rung, i ran to michael and daisy.

"luke is coming over to my house later." i smiled big.

"damn already? he acts fast." michael snorted. daisy rolled her eyes and hit michael in the shoulder.

"shut up mike. bro you better text us what happens." she smirked at me, wiggling her eyebrows.

"we wont do anything daisy." i playfully rolled my eyes.
