when luke cut off the engine, we were on a small mountain overlooking one of the many beaches that were sprinkled across the santa barbra coast.
it was night now, only eight but the scene was pretty with the waves washing in & stars lightly sprinkling the sky. "how did you find this place?" i giggled as i took off my seat belt.
"i have my ways." he winked. luke got out of the car, going to the trunk. he came back with a bottle & two red solo cups. he brought up a bottle of bubbly.
"are you serious?" i laughed as he popped the top off, the bubbles going every where on his hand and the floor.
"yes i am." luke laughed too as he poured me a cup and handed it to me. once he got himself a cup, he put the bottle on the floor and sat back next to me in the driver seat. "cheers my love."
we clinked cups and took a sip. i leaned my head against his shoulder watching the water flow up and down against the shore.
"thank you for this really cute date, luke." i pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"no problem." he nodded, pulling his cup away from his lips and turned to face me. his opposite hand that held his drink held my cheek, his thumb gazing over my skin lightly.
i couldnt help myself, locking our lips together in a passionate kiss. luke let out a gentle moan as i swiped my tongue over his bottom lip, asking for an entrance. we fought for dominance over the kiss, passion turning into hunger & lust.
"lets goto the back," he whispered, pulling for air after the long kiss. i nodded, putting my cup in the cupholder before hopping to the back with him. i laid across the seats as luke hovered over me, leaving kisses on my jaw and neck.
"you're so beautiful princess," he whispered in between kisses. "i cant get over how stunning you are."
"shut up and kiss me luke." i pouted, grabbing his chin and pressing my lips to mine.
we made out for a while till soon enough i was sitting in his lap, my head leaning against his chest, touching his exposed skin that showed from the open buttons he left open his shirt.
"luke?" i asked, putting my head up.
"yeah?" he asked, looking down at me, moving my hair behind my ear.
"do you see us, like, in a serious relationship?" nervously, i took my bottom lip between my teeth. i searched his eyes for emotion but i couldnt tell what he was thinking.
"to be honest, yes. i honestly truly do. i really like you leia. like ive never had so many feelings for one person, its weird and different-but i like it." a small smile crept over his lips. i simply just nodded, hugging him tightly.
"dont ever leave me please," i begged softly, trying not to cry in front of him and ruin the mood. i like luke so much, actually, maybe i even love him? i dont know. but whatever i feel-it makes me happy because its him thats making me feel the way i do and i dont want it to end.
the blonde boy squeezed me tightly back, rocking my body gently back and forth. we stayed like that for a while till i pulled and kissed him again.

luke & i just cuddled in the back of his car for another hour before he drove me back home and said goodnight to me. when i walked in, my mom, grey & matty were all asleep on the couch watching chicken little.
i walked over, picking up grey, putting her to bed first, then matty and lastly i woke up my mom.
"mom," i whispered, shaking her lightly. she groaned softly, slowly opening her eyes and looked around. "you should goto bed. i just got home, i put grey and matty to bed already."
she gave me a sleepy smile before getting up. "how was your date?" she yawned.
"it was really fun." i answered, opening the door for her.
"thats good. goodnight bug, i love you." she said, climbing into bed, sounding sleepier already.
"goodnight mom, love you too." i said softly before shutting the door. finally, i went to my bedroom, taking off my makeup & dress. when i climbed into bed, i stared at the ceiling, smiling like some crazy person as i thought about my first date with luke.

i opened my eyes, tears filled up almost instantly in my eyes. i woke up from a nightmare i wish i never had. it was my parents fighting but 50x worse, having cursing, abuse & other scary, horrible things.
all i could think about was wanting luke with me. so i grabbed my phone and dialed his number. it rang three times till i heard him pick up.
"leia? are you okay?" his voice was groggy and raspy.
"luke, i-i had a bad dream." i cried quietly into the phone. "i need, need you."
he was silent for a few seconds. "do you want to talk about it?" i heard him move around.
"no, can you-you come here?" i bit down on my lip, preparing myself for him to say no because lets be real here-i was being insensitive.
"yeah. yeah, ill be there in a few minuets okay? do you want me to stay on the phone with you?"
this time i was quiet for a second, letting my mind process what he just said. "uh, you can hang up. just text me when your here?" i sniffled and squeezed my pillow.
"okay baby, see you in a bit." he said and hung up. 10 minuets later, luke texted me he was here.
luke 💛: would ur mum be ok with me just coming here at 2 in the morning
'idk. can you come through my window'
luke 💛: ill try
i bit my lip, getting out of bed, opening up the window. i saw luke, quietly and slowly he made it up to my room. once he stepped foot, he pulled me into his arms, squeezing me gently. he was wearing a hoodie & shorts.
"lets get in bed baby." he mumbled, leading me back to bed. before he climbed in with me, he discarded his hoodie and shoes.
"im sorry i made you come all this way," i said softly, small tears escaping my eyes.
"hey," luke gently put my chin up. "dont worry about it okay? ill do anything for you just to make sure youre okay." luke pressed a kiss to my forehead as i rested my head on his chest.
he lightly ran his fingers through my hair, knowing it would relax me.
"wise men say, only fools rush in,
but i cant help falling in love with you," luke began to sing softly in my ear. i shut my eyes, taking in his beautiful voice & his heart beat.
"shall i stay?
would it be a sin?
if i cant help falling in love with you."
as i fell asleep, i came to realization-i am in love with luke hemmings.
