As Riku was walking away from the door he heard multiple feet making their way toward the door, he stopped and turned around as someone knocked. He sighed softly and walked toward it again, opening it widely.
"Yes..." His word trailed off as he saw the overly hyper members of the host club smiling at him with wide eyes.
"Can we come in!" The twins and Tamaki yelled in sync, Riku raised his eyebrow before stepping to the side.
"I guess..." The hosts walked in, Kyouya giving a short apology while Takashi nodded to him, he gave the taller male a smile and nod. The twins looked him up and down.
"You clean up nicely Riku-senpai-"
"Especially with your hair back like that" Riku gave them a small smile while nodding.
"Thank you, I just finished with a business meeting moments ago, please follow me this way to the living room," He walked with the hosts, talking with them as they went toward the living room, Tamaki and the twins looked around in amazement. Haruhi looked around in wonder until Kyouya spoke up.
"This isn't the original Ninato estate, is it Riku-senpai?" Riku glanced over his shoulder and nodded.
"No, it isn't... Syusuke wouldn't step foot into the old estate after mom and dad passed away... Our grandfather sold it and got this one for us and himself, he did live with us for awhile, that is until he handed the company over to me, then he left for Germany again. I have redesigned recently, do you three like the designing work?" He said taking a glance at the three boys that had their mouths opened. They nodded and looked at the red carpeting up the main stairs.
They were soon walking down a white hallway that had a few paintings and stands in it. Riku stopped at the first doorframe on the left and let the guests in first, he followed in soon after to find the hosts sitting and talking to his brother already. He smiled slightly and went to sit down, almost reaching the couch when his phone went off. He sighed softly and pulled it out of his pocket before leaving the room.
"Hello, Ninato Riku, What do you need Mr.Akisato?" He stepped out of the room and leaned against the wall outside the room, talking into the phone as the hosts stayed quiet to try and hear.
"No, of course... I can assure you, you will be in good hands at the Ootori hospital. Yes, have a nice day." He started walking back into the room as he hung up the phone, he relaxed onto the sofa next to his brother. They talked for a few minutes until one of the butlers walked into the room.
"Riku-san, your uncle in on the phone wishing to talk to you..." Riku sighed heavily as he got up and took the phone from the butler.
"Thank you, could you get our guests some tea and cake?" The butler nodded before heading off through the halls again. Riku took a deep breath before pressing the phone to his ear.
"Yes, uncle? What is it that you need? You just left..." He quickly pulled the phone away from his ear, the hosts being able to hear the loud voice on the other end.
"MONTHLY. REPORTS. DO YOU HEAR ME?! M.O.N.T.H.L.Y!!" The line went dead soon after, Riku glared at the phone in his hand as he muttered curse words under his breath, walking back to his seat.
"Murder... I swear to you I contemplate it everytime I speak to him..." Syusuke chuckled and nodded slightly.
"You have to deal with him more than me, but what was he on about?" Riku said and looked at his little brother.
"He wants monthly updates on our grades, martial arts from an overseer, and wants monthly updates on the company from me. Just to make sure we're 'doing okay' and that the 'company doesn't go down the shithole' since I'm the 'One gonna be responsible for the company in the near future' yet I 'Can't do shit for the company' and he 'Would be so much better at it'. His words, not mine. I swear we can't be related to him... You sure mom wasn't like adopted... Or was he..? Either one..?" Riku muttered as he leaned back and arched his back hearing a satisfying 'crack' he sighed in relief and smiled as his brother laughed at the last statement he made.
"That or he's mentally insane and needs therapy!" Syusuke smiled widely as he laughed more, making Riku chuckle. Tamaki frowned.
"Why don't you like your uncle?" Riku sighed softly and looked at the blonde.
"If one of your family members ever said to you when you were fifteen that you were the reason your parents died, you wouldn't like them much either, then to add on to it they tried to force your grandfather to give the family company to them, you'd hate them even more. I don't like my uncle for reasons, not just because I don't know him much." Tamaki nodded while still frowning from the comments the uncle had made to the tow boys, Riku nudged his brother slightly, making Syu look up at him.
"You should go shower soon," Syusuke checked the time before getting up and nodding.
"Bye guys, see ya tomorrow!" He bounded off through a doorway, which closed soon after he left, Riku smiled at the guys and talked with them for another hour before seeing them off.
"Bye Ri-chan!!" Honey smiled happily while waving, Tamaki and Kyouya had left already, the twins were driving Haruhi home and Takashi and Honey were the only two left saying their goodbyes.
"Bye Mitsukuni, Takashi, have a safe ride home" He called after them before going back into the large house. Honey and Mori took one last look at the beautiful house before leaving in their limo.
