~With Riku~
"Ashikota-san, I understand that you're a bit stubborn when it comes to these conditions, but you have to understand that you and I both need this agreement." Riku's voice was calm and collected as he spoke about the companies partnership with the Ashikota family. Soon the meeting ended with a success, Riku was now back in the limo and on his way to the Ootori family estate.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, that man is stubborner than a mule on a hot day..." The chauffeur chuckled softly and nodded.
"It's no problem, sir," Riku leaned back and fixed his tie before he looked out the window and saw his school going past him. He checked his watch, it was almost lunchtime, that means he was probably going to be later than he expected. He let a sigh out and ran a hand through his hair softly, this would be his first meeting with the Ootori family head, Toshio Ootori. The limo pulled to a stop outside the large house and Riku stepped out.
"You can head out, this one might take a while... I'll call when I need a ride to school, alright Jonhson?" He said while addressing his chauffeur by his last name. Johnson nodded slightly and drove off, Riku straightened his tie and walked towards the house, taking long, prideful strides. He wrapped his fist against the solid oak door thrice before it opened a moment later, a maid greeted him.
"Hello, you must be here to speak with Ootori-san, please follow me right this way..." Riku nodded and kept his more professional face on as they walked in silence towards the second-floor office. The maid knocked on the door softly, a 'come in' soon followed. Riku opened the door and said a soft 'thank you' to the maid before entering.
"Ah, Kaito, good to see you agi-" Yoshio looked up from the papers and noticed Riku standing there instead of Kaito.
"Hello, Ootori-san, Ninato Riku, CEO, and owner of the Ninato Martial Arts and Medical company. A pleasure to meet you..." He bowed at the waist toward the older man as Yoshio looked at him with slight shock.
"CEO? How old are you..?"
"17 Ootori-san, a third-year at Ouran Academy." Yoshio nodded slowly.
"Where's your father..? Is he accompanying you and is running late..?" Riku frowned slightly before he remembered his father's death hadn't been published in the newspaper, he refused any meetings with the press about it at the time.
"No, sir... My father's been dead for two years now... Sir..." Yoshio nodded once more before motioning to the chair in front of him.
"Sorry for your lose, let us begin, shall we?" Riku nodded and listened closely as the older man talked.
After two hours he had left the Ootori house, seeing two older looking men along with a young woman, he bowed to the three before leaving walking to his limo and slipping into the back.
"Home, quickly please, I don't wish to miss any more school than I have now..." Johnson nodded slightly and sped off down the street, only having to turn down three other streets before they got to the Ninato Main estate. Riku got out and told the man to stay there and that he would be back in a few moments.
He rushed into the house and up to his room on the second floor, he stripped of his clothes and quickly pulled his school uniform on, he slipped his shoes on and draped his blazer over his arm as he sped down the stairs still buttoning his shirt up. When he got into the limo he was tying his tie around his neck, he set his blazer and bag on the seat next to him and finished fixing his tie, he slipped the blazer on and buttoned the single button in the mid-section of the blazer closed.
The limo soon after pulled up to Ouran, Riku thanked the driver and grabbed his school bag, he got out and took off toward the school building, taking long strides as he went. The only stop he made before he went to class was to the office to get a late slip.
"And where were you?" The front lady asked him as she wrote the slip up for him.
"I had business meetings to attend to ma'am, I couldn't cancel them again, I had already down that... I hope you have a nice day ma'am, thank you!" He said quickly before taking the note and rushing off toward his class, he only had this class and the next before the end of the school day. When he got to the door he ran his fingers through his hair and straightened his tie before knocking on the door. It soon after opened and the teachers face greeted him.
"Hello Ninato-kun, welcome to class... Hand me your slip and take your seat please..." He nodded and passed the white piece of paper over to her before walking toward his desk in the back. He plopped down and sighed softly, as he fixed his blazer slightly, and placed his bag on the hook that was screwed to the side of his desk. He glanced at his friends and smiled slightly, he then took out his class textbook and opened to the correct page.
When class ended Takashi placed three or four papers on his desk.
"Homework.." Riku nodded slightly.
"Ah... Thank you," He nodded slightly and lifted his cousin up off the ground.
"Syu-chan said you'd be here right after lunch... Why are you so late?" Honey asked with a pout.
"My meeting with Ootori-san ran a bit longer than I had thought... He's a very stubborn man..." Riku said as he stood up and stretched.
"That and I had to go home to change, I was wearing a suit... I don't think the chairmen would have appreciated me coming to school in a grey suit," He said softly as he packed his things up and headed toward the door, Honey and Mori trailing behind talking to him, mostly Honey.
