Chapter Twenty-One - Blue Hair
A/N - just apologising in advance but these next few chapters are going to have legal terms and legal things in them and i'm no lawyer so please don't hate me if i get anything wrong. i'm doing my best to make it work and that may require some new 'laws' to be made. so apologies beforehand.
I feel sick.
Today we are going to see Sicheng one last time before the trial begins in a few hours.
I haven't seen my father since Taeyong got the other guards to remove him from my office.
It makes me sick to think that within a few hours my sister is going to have to see him again.
Not only him, but she will have to see Chanyeol again.
The monster who has ruined her.
He doesn't know that she is pregnant. Sicheng told us he didn't mention it as it can be more powerful if we have the element of surprise behind it.
Taeyong can tell that I am starting to become nervous as he stands closer to me then usual as we wait in the foyer of the law office.
His arm brushes against mine every time either of us move.
Yuta and Johnny are going to meet us outside the court room.
Doyoung will arrive beforehand and meet us inside. He is attempting to dodge the press.
Nara and Jaemin are already in with Sicheng. He is finalising things with her privately before calling me in to give me a run down.
I hate the feeling of just having to wait outside, to be called in.
Even with Taeyong by my side, I am still feeling scared of today's events.
It won't be easy.
"Jaehyun" A voice calls my name, bringing my attention back to reality.
I look to Taeyong to see him tugging on my sleeve softly.
"It's time" He speaks softly and I look to see Sicheng standing at the door to his office.
I take a deep breath before walking over to the door.
Nara is seated at the table, her hand holding onto Jaemin's tightly.
She smiles weakly as I walk in. I lean down and hug her, kissing the top of her head before sitting by her side.
Taeyong stands near the door, already on lookout.
I instructed him to be even more alert today. Who knows what father might do to sabotage this.
"The main reason as to why I am seeing you now is to just give you final preparations. I don't want any of you freaking out if something is asked and you don't know how to respond."
Sicheng states as he sits opposite us.
He opens a file and scans through it briefly before speaking again.
