We arrived at the bus stop. Out of nowhere it started snowing lightly. We talked about random things. Soon enough the time for me to leave had come. The past days and the things we've done together became a part of history. Our history. For it's only the both of us who will keep memory, even if a vague one of the time spent. The bus opened the doors and passengers starting getting on. I took my ticket out.
'I suppose this is it.' I said.
'I suppose so. Hey, you have a nice journey and take care of yourself okay?'
'I will do my best. Thank you for everything Marcus. I mean it.'
'Come here you!' and he extended his arms for a hug. 'I might come home later in the year so we'll see one another.' he added.
'Okay, bye.'
'Bye.'
The road ahead was a long one, about 28 hours of driving. Those hours passed by seamlessly, as they usually do. It's just one hour after the other. Somehow all of it felt alien, all these decisions I've been making lately. There was no plan, there has never been one. I was going home and sure I missed my parents, or was it that I missed the notion of them. Although, I knew deep down that I wasn't coming to a home, for it hasn't been one for a long time. Everyone's changed, circumstances made us into different beings.
