"Here is your cake, thank you for visiting Le Petit Bordelais." Chaeyoung handed the customer's cake and bowed.

It's 3.00 pm already. Her shift was about to end. Today's work wasn't really hectic. There wasn't any long line outside the shop---except for Christmas, New Year, Chuseok, or Valentine's Day. Just a few customers enjoying their cake and coffee inside the shop, and some take out transactions.

Chaeyoung loved to work here. Not just because of her love for baking or the fact that she has always wanted to have her own cake shop, but the experience of meeting new people everyday and making new friends, and Junghwan, the owner was suuuppperrr nice to them. He was like her own brother if she ever had one.

She tied her long crimson red hair in a loose ponytail today. She wore her lilac blouse with some tiny floral prints on it, and her light blue washed skinny jeans, oh, and of course on top of that, the Le Petit Bordelais apron still wrapped around her body.

It's fifteen minutes until her shift end. She was still standing behind the cashier counter while checking on some transaction records. She always make sure that she wrapped up the records neatly before she left.

She hummed her favorite song while checking on the transaction records, but then a minty scent slowly penetrated her nose. She was startled. The minty scent brought her back to the memory about what happened last night. She regretted how the bourbon took over her and the fact that she let it be made her more upset. But she couldn't deny that she was kinda enjoyed that steamy moment she had last night with Jungkook. It has been a long time since she got intimate with someone.

The girls have been bombing her with nonstop questions about the guy that Lisa saw her making out with. Geez, if only she skipped their morning jog routine this morning. And when she told them his name, they couldn't keep their jaw from the ground. Lisa couldn't stop screaming and jumping around like she was a toddler who consumed excessive amount of glucose, Jennie just stood still like a statue and did not blink, and Jisoo was covering her mouth with both hands and couldn't stop saying "omo". She thought she might regretted her decision to told them his name, but then they showered her with tight hugs saying that they are so happy that she finally opened herself up for someone new, especially that someone is Jungkook. Jennie called Yoongi right away after she told them who the guy was, and she could hear the sound of him screaming from across the phone. Okay, great, now the whole gang knew that she and Jungkook made out last night. But the thing that kept her thinking was, did she finally opened up to someone new? maybe it was still too early for her to figure it out.

She closed her eyes and shook her head, attempting to remove the thought of Jungkook and the girls from her head. But the minty scent still lingered in her nose. She looked around to find the source of the minty scent. And there was Jihyo, her co-worker, glazing a tart with mint cream.

"What's wrong?" Jihyo stopped glazing and looked back at her.

"Ehehehe, nothing. Just wondering where the minty scent came from." Chaeyoung smiled showing the series of her white teeth.

Jihyo continued to glaze and decorate the cake, "So, you're going to visit him today, right?"

"Yes, I'll go right away after my shift end." Chaeyoung said, while counting some transaction receipts.

"You can go now if you want to, Eunwoo will be back from his supplies shopping in a moment, so, it's okay if you want to go now!" Jihyo placed the decorated cake in the showcase freezer.
