XVI. For You (Pt. 2)

The man couldn't seem to relax while waiting outside the ER. He rested his back on the wall, head hung low, and arms crossing over his chest.

When a doctor came out to inform him that Chaeyoung is now okay and will be transferred to a treatment room, Jungkook could finally relieved himself. He even asked the doctor to move her to the vip room.

"I'll be at the administration counter, please watch for her until I come back." Jungkook told Yuju. She nodded, and went to Chaeyoung's treatment room.

After he finished filling the form and completed the payment, he went up to see Chaeyoung.

Jin Young and Jaebum had arrived. They brought lunch for him and Yuju. They also picked up some fruit and abalone porridge for Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung was still laying unconsciously on the bed. Doctor Yoon said she was probably exhausted from her work and lately she didn't eat or consume enough water that it made her received lack of nutrition and highly dehydrated.

Yuju and the others were at the cafeteria eating their lunch while Jungkook was waiting for Chaeyoung. He sat on the chair next to her bed. Refuse to leave her side since she was transferred to this room.

Jungkook brought his fingers up to caress her cheek. He can't stop staring at her face. She looked pale, as if she lost her colors. Yet, it didn't stop her to look as flawless as she usually did. It kind of break his heart, seeing her laying weakly like this. He coud've took a better care of her.

After a while, Yuju, Jin Young, and Jaebum went back to Chaeyoung's room. They told him to eat his lunch because he hadn't eat anything since this afternoon.

"We can look after her. Go eat your lunch."

Jungkook shook his head, "I don't feel like eating now. I'm just gonna wait until she's awake."

All of them just sat there in silence waiting for Chaeyoung. Jungkook couldn't seem to move from his seat since the moment they got here. The rest of them could see how much he wanted to protect her.

Yuju and Jin Young looked at each other. "He really..." Jin Young whispered, glancing at Jungkook, "Isn't he?" He secretly mouthing those words to Yuju.

Yuju merely nodded as an answer. Now that it was plain to see that Jungkook obviously had feelings, the big one for Chaeyoung. It was clearly shown.

Time passed, Yuju, Jin Young, and Jaebum had to go back to the office. Yuju had told Manager Eun and Min Hyun about Chaeyoung's condition, and Min Hyun told them he would visit tonight, right after he got back from the conference.

Jaebum also said that he already told Manager Anh that Jungkook will stay here. And Manager Anh was okay about it.

And there he was, still by her side. Never wanted to leave as he brought his hand to hold hers near his chest.

Not long after everyone left, another visitor came in. The woman carefully walked into the room. She was greeted by his back facing her.

Her eyes caught a sandwich that rested on the table. It was still wrapped, means that he had not touch it. Gosh, he must have skipped his meal. And as she walked closer, she could see him holding onto Chaeyoung's hand while his eyes never left her. The look on his face was something that she finds new to her. His forehead creased showing how much he concerned about the woman who was laying on the bed.

She held her breath before she finally approached him. The sound of her high heels clicking against the floor, made him turned his head.

"Yee Eun." He called her.
